Description
Bell Price wants nothing more than for her life to settle down and go back to the happy routine it once was, but in the twilight hours following her parents’ murders, events take a turn for the worse. An attack on the local police department leaves the Price family feeling vulnerable and suspicious. The lead detective believes the incident is an act of terrorism and that the family is being paranoid after recent events. Bell tries to put the paranoid thoughts out of her head, but as days go by, a mysterious chain of events leads her to realize it’s no coincidence. Her family has become tangled up in a deadly game of cat and mouse. With the help of a friend and the local police, Bell and her siblings must pull together to uncover the murderer before one of them becomes the next victim.

Great read. The author wrote a story that was interesting and moved at a pace that kept me engaged. The characters were easy to invest in.
A Fox in the Fold is the sequel to A Black and White Affair.
Bell's parents were murdered. She and her siblings are not paranoid ... they firmly believe that they are being targeted by terrorists.
An attack on the local police department leaves the Price family feeling vulnerable and suspicious. The lead detective believes the incident is an act of terrorism and that the family is being paranoid after recent events.
Then a strange number of events that are linked together result in all the siblings with the help of the police and a friend pulling together to uncover a murderer before one of them becomes the next victim.
This is a fast easy read with a few surprises along the way. A nicely plotted mystery with a family full of love and loyalty to each other. The characters are finely drawn and memorable.
The story starts at the very ending of A Black and White Affair. This is easily a stand alone, but I would recommend starting with the first book. The suspense is palpable until the final explosive ending.
