When Regan's artist friend Cleo leaves to go abroad on a work trip, Regan's life falls into tatters over a lottery ticket she thought she'd won big on thanks to a sour prank by her work colleague Alex.

Losing her home with partner Jarvis her job and life as she knew it, kind homeless man and his dog Kevin and Elvis and new stranger Charlie help her realise that though she may be down on her luck and without any millions she can still change her life into a better one...

I loved this first instalment of Bella's new book so much from down on her luck Regan, mysterious Kevin and his dog Elvis and Mantra the mindfulness group cracked me up as if you don't know Bring Me The Horizon sung a song called Mantra which kept going through my head while reading and isn't a classic to help with mindfulness really! The intrigue means I will certainly being reading the next part especially to see what will happen with handsome kind stranger Charlie and Regan.

The ending was a shocker prepare yourselves a wonderful drama rollercoaster ride of emotions book!

Many thanks to the publisher's for allowing me to review this book for them!

This book was so good. I didn't to put it down! The characters were well rounded, and the storyline sucked you into it and made you feel like you were really there. The author did an great job telling this story.

The story of Regan, who throws away everything in her life when she thinks she has won the lottery. She hasn't and now she is stuck with no job, no home and no boyfriend. It is as this is happening that she meets Charlie.

Looking forward to reading the next part of this book and finding out what happens next!

I am a Bella Osbourne fan, so I already knew I was going to enjoy this start of the story.

As usual, Bella’s characters are likeable, sassy, a bit messed up, but good at heart.

I really enjoyed the start of this series, it’s uplifting,. romantic, and as ever - full of drama!!

My thanks to Netgalley and Avon Books

Hurry up part two!
Regan certainly knows how to create attention, she had me cringing, she had me happy, she had me sad. She has timing issues and it seems bad luck in everything which isn’t helped by a meddlesome co worker. Things just start to improve then boom, will her luck change? I do hope so. I can’t wait to see how her character evolves in the next books. A great start, just don’t leave me hanging to long.

It's hard to review this book without giving away any spoilers, but I can say that I absolutely loved it. The only negative thing that I can say about this book is that I have to wait to read the second part.
The ending was very unexpected, and I really need to know what happens next.
The characterisation is wonderful, I especially hope that we see more of Kevin, and learn his story.
Thank you to Netgalley and the Publisher for my ARC.

I love this author’s books, so I know when I see a new series beginning that it’s definitely something which I’m going to enjoy reading! This is Part One of the Pebble Beach series and is a novella sized read. The four books of this series are initially released as a four-part serialisation, with a full-sized book released at a later date. As it’s a short read, it’s absolutely perfect to settle down with for a couple of hours and finish it in one go! In this series, we meet Regan. She’s in a relationship that she’s not happy with and works in a job where she feels the same! When her numbers come up on a lucky dip lottery ticket, Regan’s life will never be the same again!

I fell in love with this series right from the first chapter. Thanks to its seaside location, it felt so bright and cheerful straight away and I just wanted to jump in between the pages so I could be part of it!! Regan is a great character – she is messy, clumsy and always late, but she has a big heart of gold, which shows with her buying Kevin, the homeless guy a coffee every morning. Thanks to her impulsive purchase of a lottery ticket, she finds her life changes, and without giving too much of the storyline away, I loved the twist of the plot!

We get to meet a few of the other characters along the way. Jarvis, her boyfriend, is a bit of a control freak. I have to admit I didn’t really like him so let out a little silent cheer when Regan ruins his rug! Charlie, a hero in more than one respect, is just perfect and I can’t wait to see how his storyline develops, particularly with the cliff-hanger we are left on at the very end!!

The storyline is great, the characters are so likeable and there is obviously so much more to come. The cover of the book is so beautiful and would definitely stand out amongst others on a shelf! The only down side is that I have to wait for Part 2 to find out what is going to happen next! I have my ideas about how life pans out for Regan, but I will have to see if I’m right or wrong! Would definitely recommend…fab, fab, fab!!!

When you begin a Bella Osborne book, you just know you are in safe, comfortable hands. This new offering is no exception. We are introduced to Regan and Jarvis, love their names, so quirky. Then Charlie appears, a man in uniform, who introduces Regan to mindfulness classes. Following a personal cancer diagnosis, these classes have been recommended to me too, and I shall be following this up after reading a taste of what happens there. Looking forward to seeing how the storyline develops with these two characters.

Another brilliant read from the talented Bella.

Regan, dead end job and dating a man who does nothing but irritate her. In a twist of events Regan finds her life in a downward spiral. Can Regan pick up the pieces and stop herself from hitting rock bottom. Part one of the pebble beach collection. Am eagerly awaiting book number 2.

Genuinely couldn’t put it down. Loved it from page 1 and has a pretty cover too.

It's always a highlight of the year when the first part of a new Bella Osborne book is released. This year is no different.

This is the tale of Regan (female persuasion) and Charlie (male firefighter) and it is turning out to be a piece with real substance to it. I haven't made up my mind yet is I like Regan that much. However, that's by the by as this is a superbly written introduction to Regan's world, the first couple of pages are some of the funniest that I've read in a long time.

With a bombshell of a cliffhanger, I'm going to be checking Netgalley for the second part and start reading that asap.

This is Ms Osborne taking her writing onto a new level. Don't miss it!

My thanks to Avon and Netgalley for allowing me to read.

Classic Bella Osborne

A human flawed heroine, a hero with his own issues and a scenario any of us could find ourselves in. Bella never fails to entertain and make me laugh at her books, but with serious undertones at the same time.

Can't wait for Part 2.

Her life is chaotic and thanks to a joke gone wrong, Regan finds her life changes within hours.

I couldn't help but feel for her as she tries to get back on her feet. There's a gorgeous stranger in the mix too.

I am impatiently waiting for the next instalment to find out what's next for Regan.

Fabulous.
The story of Reagan whose in a relationship with Jarvis. She buys a lottery ticket and makes a list of things she’d do if she won. She leaves the ticket in her drawer at work as her boyfriend doesn’t think buying a lottery ticket is good to do.
When she comes into work after the weekend, her friend asks her to check the ticket, she thinks she’s won, then she ends her relationship and quits her job, only to find out that her colleague changed her ticket over and now he’s won. She fights with him only to get stopped by Charlie(who she thinks is a police officer)
Life takes a downward spiral, she has no job, nowhere to stay and limited funds.
Then she attend a community centre where she finds that other people have been through more than her.
The ending was a cliff-hanger and now I want to know what happens next. Can’t wait to read the second part.

Can't wait to read more, a fun and great start to a promisingly good new series by Bella Osborne. Can't wait to find out what happens next

This was such a pleasant surprise!

I almost never read the whole description of a book because I want to enjoy it as much as possible without knowing a lot of details.

And I didn't realize that this was a novella, a series of 4 books and I am so looking forward to the other parts of this book.

The author's way of writing is very captivating, very quick with just enough humor and serious issues as well to keep your attention and you start craving for the rest.

Regan - such a cool name! is the main character and in this 100 page novella we can read how she tries to get back on her feet after thinking she won a big lottery prize.

I have a lot of acquaintances that act/ed similarly as Regan as it was sometimes tough watching them find their grounds in this world.

That is the appeal of the book - you can read about the person that you can identify with and feel her struggles.

No need to say that I can't wait to read the other parts of this series! As quickly as possible please. :)

I always love a new Bella Osborne series so was excited to read the first part of Out Of the Blue (Meet Me at Pebble Beach).

In this book we meet Regan. She has a winning lottery ticket. She can wave goodbye to her rubbish boyfriend and terrible job. Though does it seem that it’s a little bit too good to be true? Jobless, homeless and single she meets Charlie - but could he be her chance for a fresh start?

Well written, it will captivate you from the start and leave you eager to read the remaining parts.

Thank you to NetGalley, Avon Books UK and the author for the chance to review.

Meet Me at Pebble Beach Part One - Out of the Blue was yet another great book by Bella Osborne. Part One introduces us to Regan who on thinking she’s won millions on the lottery dumps the boyfriend and her job to live out her bucket list. However things don’t go to plan and she finds herself homeless, single and with no job. What will she do now? A great first book of this new series I’m waiting not so patiently for Part Two as I can’t wait to find out what will happen to Regan next.

A great start for a new series. I had fun and rooted for the characters.
I liked the entertaining and well crafted plot, the likeable characters and the lovely setting.
Can't wait to read the next instalment.
Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved this book, had me laughing out loud and gasping at bits in the book (not giving anything away as hate that in a review!) I haven’t read anything by this author before, but I want to read more already. I loved that characters, the wit, the storyline – just fabulous. As an author she seems to have my sense of humour which came across in her book. Looking forward to the next instalment. If I could give this 6 stars I would!

Thank you NetGalley for my complimentary copy in return for my honest review.

Regan is in an unhappy relationship, she doesn't like her job, and then her luck changes - she wins the lottery ! Or does she? - everything falls apart. Lots of laugh out loud moments, brilliantly written, I can't wait for the next instalment!

Amazing!! This past one in a four part series, admittedly I usually wait for the whole book to be finished before I read it simply because I’m so impatient with cliffhangers, but I couldn’t really pass up this opportunity to read a preview for net galley.
I’m a huge fan of Bella Osbourne so I knew I was going to get a good read and this didn’t disappoint.
That moment when Regan holds her winning lottery ticket, I was right there with her punching the air, I thought ‘yes! Now this is going to be interesting’ however - plot twist - it was all a trick from her work mate Alex and she doesn’t find out until she’s said and done everything she really thinks. It was totally hilarious! And then to top it all off she attacks Alex by repeatedly bashing his head against a revolving door! I was laughing out loud by this point. The story had certainly got interesting.
I loved Regans connection to Kevin and his hound dog Elvis, it was very touching and I’m hoping we’ll see more from him later parts and learn his story. I know it’s only the first part and it’s setting up all the pieces for the rest of the book, but I can already see the clogs turning in her mind as she’s discovering her own strengths and drives and ambitions, even at rock bottom she doesn’t give up. The huge plot bomb at the end regarding Charlie totally blew me away and I’m desperate to read part two and to see how she grows as a person to be able to live life to the max with him.

This is the first book I read by Bella Osborne. I have seen so many great reviews of her work, that I definitely had her on my "need to read" list. I absolutely like her writing style, character development and plot.

I was just getting very interested in the plot, and then it came to an abrupt halt. I knew this was the first of a series, but was not really happy how it ended so suddenly. I later saw that this is "serial novel", so that misunderstanding is totally on me, but that will make me want to read the rest of the serial as soon as possible.

I want to thank NetGalley.com and Avon Books UK for allowing me to read the ARC. My review is my own opinion not influenced by receiving the Advance Reader Copy.

“He gave her a look that made her go weak at the knickers”!!

What a delightfully fun read that had me smiling and literally laughing out loud! Well written and full of wit! My first read of Bella Osborne and I will definitely come back for more! This is part one of a four part series and I am looking forward to reading the next three parts!

Part one introduces us to Regan who dumps her boyfriend Jarvis and quits her job after winning the lottery... a prank that goes terribly wrong and sees us following the story of how Regan will get back on her feet after hitting rock bottom.

Will Charlie, a handsome stranger who enters the mix during this rock bottom moment be the answer to Regan getting her life back in order?
We may have to wait until part two to see?

Thank you Netgalley, Avon Books UK and Bella Osborne for the review eARC in return for my honest review.

Alex's prank upends Regan's life. He thought it would be funny to make her think she won the lottery but it turns out she didn't and well, she ended up losing her boyfriend (no big loss that one), her job, and her home. As bad as that might sound, she finds that there are bright spots ahead thanks not only to Charlie (yes, there's a new love interest) but also because she has been and continues to be kind to others, most notably Kevin, who is homeless. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A cheery read that will remind you how it takes a village....

Perfect setting

Perfect plot

Well this was an excellent way to kick off a series! This book wasn't what I was expecting but in a really good way... I mean everything that could go wrong for Regan really does and there are so many things hanging over her head it could make you weep, but it makes for excellent reading.

Regan is quite an easy character to get to know and so sympathise with from the word go. I would HATE to have her as a co-worker or even a friends for that matter because I think all of her troubles would stress me out a bit and I know I wouldn't be able to tolerate her work ethic. But as someone to read about, she is perfect reading material and allowed me to escape all the chaos in the real world.

I love the fact that this series looks like its going to be set in Brighton as well, it's been so long since I read a book set there and I can't wait to see what the town has in store for Regan and her friends. This opening installment of the series really does leave you wanting more and I can see that it is setting up for some trouble and hopefully some answers for Regan in the pages to come. I can't wait to read part 2!

Loved the first part of this book. Regan is such a disastrous, lovable character. Some real twists and turns along the way, and I definitely didn't see the twist at the end coming. Looking forward to the remaining parts of the story, and following Regan's onward journey......

Winning The Lottery Causes Major Life Changes
That is especially true when it is a prank. None of the characters are perfect, but all are presented in a way that the reader overlooks their flaws and accepts them as-is. This is a very humorous story with a decent plotline of finding out what is truly important in life.
This is the first in a four-part series that must be read in order. I loved the book and can't wait for the next episode. I received this ARC book for free from Net Galley and this is my honest review.

This is my intro to Bella Osborne. Why she has not been on my radar prior to now is a HUGE issue! She is AMAZING! I cannot wait to finish my to read list to get more of Bella Osborne onto my list! She may be bumping some other authors, so they better look out and step up their game!

This book is just what we need right now, humor, romance and more. We begin the book with Regan waking up with a half-eaten kebab as a pillow. Seriously, I want to be her BFF! If I woke up on that, I know the night before had a story and it was a pretty darn good one! She is then interrupted in her slow reconstructing the night before by her being reminded that she had to take Cleo to the airport. Wow, this is some start. You better put your seatbelt on, strap in, because we are in for some ride with this author. I love her antics, her start, her style. Can the author be my BFF instead? I am available to Zoom, facetime, skype during this Quarantine so you can bounce ideas off of me, make me laugh, cry, etc. PRETTY PRETTY PLEASE!!! Regan also almost leaves the house WITHOUT PANTS! The start to this book is just PHENOMONAL! PANTS! YUP! I have almost done that- you CANNOT leave the house in BOY SHORTS! NOT APPROPRIATE attire, under any circumstances, especially now in QUARANTINE. I no longer have a Quaranheiny, it is a GIGANTIC heiny! OK, first chapter and we have a half eaten kebab, no pants, carpet burn on a nose, a forgotten mobile, double parking and more. Woah BABY! I need a serious airbag!
This book was so much fun and exactly what I needed right now, the only thing that I have negative to say about it was that there was not enough of it! PLEASE GIVE ME MORE! PLEASE CONTACT ME AND WE CAN FACETIME, ZOOM, GOOGLE HANGOUT, you name it, please slide into my DMs! You are my new fave!!! James Patterson, you may be replaced as my favorite author. I may have read 200 + of your books, but Bella had me by the cajones from page 1! If you are bored during this Quarantine, guess what, I have found the answer!

Regan lives with her partner Jarvis but is getting fed up with his constant nagging over her lateness and untidiness. She is also fed up with her job knowing that the best part of it is her friendship with her co-worker Alex. Regan is over the moon when she discovers she has won the lottery, she dumps Jarvis and quits her job only to find that Alex had played a trick on her and she is now homeless and jobless with no money.
Angry and upset Regan meets Charlie and dares to believe her life isn’t totally in ruins but Charlie has a secret of his own that could wreck their new found happiness.
The ending had me wishing I had the next book so I could just carry on reading!

A new Bella Osborne series is always something great to look forward to.
I loved the first book in this series. Regan's life has a complete change in direction after a friends prank backfires.
Pebble Beach is a lovely setting for a book and the characters are so well drawn that you feel instantly invested with them. The first book has made me eager to read more.

Bella Osbourne never fails to entertain us reader and keep us enjoying it throughout.
This book is what we need right now to pass our time away with all the negativity around. The main charcater to begin with is Regan, in bed with her half eaten take out kebab.. Then has to make it to the airport and yes this woman is such a funny character, she left home without her pants, i can relate to this. lol.
The story is fun, and everyone life will change with a large lotto win and the other characters all have flaws but these are noticed mostly by the author but we have plots and stories and so many page turns you have to find out what happens next. As time progresses, you find out what really is importnat in life.
Thank you to netgalley and the pblishers for my early cvopy to review this.

Thank you Avon Books, Bella Osborne and NetGalley for my digital review copy - my thoughts are my own.

This is the first book I've read by Bella Osborne and I was thrilled to be gifted a digital review copy after seeing great reviews.

I really enjoyed this first part to the Meet Me at Pebble Beach series - lots of humour but also some tough social issues such as homelessness. The character of Regan developed nicely and I'm looking forward to reading part 2 to find out what happens next.

I would like to thank Avon Books for sending me a copy of the first part of this new book by Bella Osborne.
Out of the Blue is the first part of the book Meet Me at Pebble Beach and it has left me waiting for the next part with baited breath. I am hooked, I loved Regan and her imperfect life, she is one of those characters that has you holding you breath and wanting to hide behind you hand. An amazing character that I really hope gets her happy ever after, however where things are at the moment she doesn't have very much going for her.
Meet Me at Pebble Beach is face past and has you turning the pages for more, its funny, heart warming and so relatable. A perfect read to escape into.
This first part of the story has had me shocked at every turn and I am very excited to see where Bella takes us next.

Oh my word! I loved this book and i am desperate to read the next in the series. It ends on such a cliff hanger,i am itching to find out what happens with Regan and Charlie.

I’m not quite sure how to review Meet me at Pebble Beach (PartOne)as when I started reading I didn’t realise it was the first in a mini four part series until the end.
I was reading what I started to believe was a very short story, set in Brighton (my home town so automatically gets my seal of approval!) featuring the rather hapless but loveable Regan. No disrespect to the author but this is a read that is perfect for our current times since it is lighthearted, frivolous and funny and maybe not something I’d necessarily pick up but definitely put a smile on my face. You can easily lose yourself in this uncomplicated piece of entertainment and forget all your woes. Regan’s sense of humour reminded me very much of my daughter’s; they both love to play pranks and Regan and work colleague Alex take pranking to a whole other level. She is coasting through life, living with a nagging boyfriend, little money and a job that she really has no desire to do. Stuck in a rut, who hasn’t daydreamed about what they would do if they were lucky enough to win the lottery? Regan’s wish list seems improbable but that doesn’t stop her buying a ticket and imagining a life very different from the one she has now. Surprise, surprise when she does discover she’s the sole winner of millions, her life immediately changes with hilarious results.
This young woman is incredibly easy to like and clearly has a heart of gold as seen in the way she buys homeless guy Kevin a coffee every morning. Without divulging anymore of the storyline, which is of course predictable but fun , a potential new love interest in the shape of Charlie enters Regan’s life and looks set to be her knight in shining armour. Annoyingly (but cleverly) this first part leaves the reader on a cliffhanger with Charlie divulging a shocking piece of news that you can guess a mile off but makes you wish for the second instalment!! I hope then that characters we’ve been introduced to will be further developed with perhaps a few new ones too.
I raced through this first part and whilst I initially thought it was going to be way too lighthearted for my liking I surprised myself by becoming caught up in Regan’s hijinks and enjoyed the humour of this warm and witty storyline. I really want to know what happens next!!
My thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for giving me the opportunity to read and discover an author that is new to me.

This is part 1 of 4 and I can't wait to read more. Bella has made a first class story and I am sure you will fall in love with her writing. her books just get better each time. Ups and downs, twists and turns, I just wish it was the whole story in one book. I recommend this novel to you all and I am giving it 5 stars.

Out Of The Blue is a fantastic start to this four part mini series. I raced through this and loved everything about it.
Regan is the main character and I found her completely likeable. We start off with her living at her boyfriends “apartment” and unfortunately being pranked. She was pranked that well that believing the prank to be true within minutes ditched her boyfriend and her job and finds herself penniless, jobless and homeless in the same amount of time.
I loved how much was packed into the first part of this series, I loved the writing style and the characters and feel that although I loved Bella Osbornes book last year this one is a step up. This is just my opinion but I felt more connected to Regan for some reason.
I would like to thank Netgalley and Avon Books for this ARC I received in exchange for an honest review.

This was a fun, easy read!
Regan is a real life character, very believable and down to earth. She is a hot mess and her life is spiraling out of control after her friend plays a prank on her. She now faces homelessness, being alone, and having no prospect for her future. Can she make changes that will set her on a path that can finally bring her the happiness she wants?
Characters are great, love all the dialogue and humor. Found myself laughing out loud several times. Looking forward to Book 2.
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Bella Osborne is a new author, to me, and I was thrilled to be an advanced reader for Meet Me at Pebble Beach. Out of the Blue is the first in a four-part tale which looks at Regan and the mess her life is in. A heartless prank finds Regan homeless and jobless in quick succession and life is looking pretty dismal except for the arrival of the lovely Charlie.
I found this first edition to be an easy read and I will certainly be looking for future instalments to see how Regan manages to cope with her situation.
As a stand-alone story, I was disappointed with the abrupt ending but, the knowledge that there’s more to come makes up for it.
Hopefully, I will be able to review the rest of this series as the other instalments become available. I have high hopes for Regan; her story could be lovely.

I’ve only recently discovered Bellas books and read as many as I can so far. When I was lucky enough to read this early I didn’t realise it was a shorter story broken into parts so the book finished much sooner than I realised. It was totally brilliant and kept me gripped and I can’t wait for the next one to come out in a couple of weeks. I need to know what’s going to happen next!

I liked the unique premise of this series, of having Regan get pranked into thinking she won the lottery. She immediately made life-changing decisions, leaving her boyfriend and job before finding out that it is a prank. When she thinks she is all alone, the community at Pebble Beach comes to show her that it is never too late to start over and that people are kind. This was a great read and is the first in the series. I cannot wait to read the next one.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers for an advanced copy of this book. I do hope my “wish” is granted and I am lucky enough to receive part 2 as I can’t wait to continue with the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book as its perfect reading material to allow you to escape from all the chaos going on during our lockdown.

The story drew me in straight away and I didn't want it to end. Regan is a lovable, easy-going and caring girl especially shown with her interactions with Kevin the homeless guy.

She lives with Jarvis a control freak who I didn’t really like much so glad they split. I really liked her relationship with co-worker, Alex, stuck in their tedious jobs they keep themselves entertained by playing pranks on each other. All harmless enough until one day Regan's life changes at the hands of one of Alex's pranks.

Following the prank, Regan’s life spirals out of control and she goes into complete meltdown (who wouldn’t!) and events lead her to meet Charlie. Although Charlie appears to be a hero, I am not totally convinced that he won’t end up being too good to be true!.

I found this a great storyline which is written very well and also highlights some serious issues. The story is filled with humour even when she finds herself down on her luck.

I definitely recommend this book. If you don’t like short books in a series then wait for the full book to be published and then read in one go – I am sure you will enjoy it.

I gave it 4 stars purely because it was over too quickly for me as it was a mini series and I am desperate to know the ending.

Out of the Blue is the first in a new series entitled Meet Me at Pebble Beach by Bella Osborne which despite its short length was absolutely packed full with lots of goings on. It was such a strong opener to the series that has only served to whet my appetite for what is to come in future parts. We get to know the main character Regan very well as times of change are arising in her life. Regan works in an office for a health care company and to be honest it's not the most exciting job rather the tedium increases day by day. Playing jokes on fellow co-worker Alex get her though the days, she doesn't feel fulfilled but it does provide money to cover the basics. So what happens when a joke goes more than that one step too far leading to the most disastrous of consequences that leads to Regan's life spinning way out of control.

Regan is in a relationship with Jarvis but you wouldn't say it's all love and romance and that they are the perfect couple destined to be together for ever. They are the complete opposite of each other in terms of personality and what they want in life and really their compatibility is not that strong. Regan is notorious for being late, disorganised, scatter-brained and forgetful. Basically she loves to go with the flow and not let things bother her too much. Jarvis likes everything to be proper, perfect and just so and is forever trying to get Regan to cut her spending and curb her annoying habits. Whereas Regan is reaching the point where Jarvis' quirks are becoming more than annoying. But still she does enjoy the safety and security he affords her. He's not a bad person deep down as he does have Regan's interests at heart but perhaps they are not the perfect pairing for each other?

I loved how we got straight down to business and we were given lots of information as to Regan's life and daily routines regarding her job and her social life. We got to know her personality and what makes her tick or else what pleases her. Basically she is a fun person who doesn't take life too seriously but at the same time there is room for a little growing up to occur and for her also to truly express what she is feeling rather than keeping things bottled up. As mentioned above when a joke goes too far and she believes she has won the lotto everything goes belly up. It was the cruellest of jokes that could have been played on her and, similar to Regan, I really did believe that she had won the lotto. It was very interesting to see her reaction and what she did when she thought her life had changed forever in a good way. She really let rip and got everything off her chest and you could tell that she had been bottling up things for ages. To be honest we would have all probably done the same. Before she knows it she has quit her job and broken up with Jarvis but when the truth comes out she comes crashing right back down to earth.

Talk about a 360 and a range of emotions developing, poor Regan is utterly distraught when the truth is revealed and she can't take back anything she has said or done. She is now in an awful position and with her friend Cleo, who is an artist, away on a work trip she can't even turn to her for comfort and support. I don't know how Regan just didn't have a complete breakdown there and then as she was homeless, jobless and had no relationship any more. She was creative in her next step but it couldn't be a long term thing and really she was scraping the barrel as to where she sheltered. She was keeping her circumstances well hidden from everybody and I just desperately wanted her to find someone who could offer the comfort, sustenance and advice that she really needed. Regan feels she no longer has any purpose in life and feels so alone. She has lost her direction and motivation and clearly needs to find it again.

In stepped Charlie, a guardian angel of sorts, who seems to be just perfect and the right person that Regan needs in her life. He encourages her to set about completing the list she had written of what she eventually wanted to do with her life. You get the sense a good friendship will develop between the pair that may lead on to something more. I did think for a little bit was it just too easy or too random that Charlie showed up in Regan's hour of need but I soon got over that. As the story said Regan's life was just one long bump and she had to workout out how to overcome it. How she will do so will be very interesting and as for that cliffhanger ending. Bella Osborne how could you do that to us? My heart was in my mouth, roll on part two In Too Deep. I can't wait to see what happens next.

A fantastic quick read, light and easy which is a wonderful thing at the moment. Full of fun, humour, romance and drama. The characters are well written and likeable, quirky and full of snark which I love. Rehab takes you on an emotional adventure and I can’t wait to see how she develops and where the story takes her, roll on part two. I can’t wait

What an exciting to start, to an addictive new series. Regan didn't immediately appeal to me. I'm a neat freak and sympathised with Jarvis, her ultra tidy boyfriend, but she redeemed herself, within a few pages, with her caring attitude and sense of humour.

This first part, of the series, is full of new characters and events. Regan thinks her life is changing for the better, and then it doesn't, but maybe, it does? Just when you think, things may be okay, life deals her another bad hand and that's where you're left. Desperate to know what happens next.

With relatable characters, humour, poignancy, romance and secrets, this story has so much potential. I can't wait to read part two.

I received a copy of this book from Avon Books UK via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

'Out Of The Blue: Meet Me At Pebble Beach- Part One' is the first of a four part serial written by the fabulous Bella Osborne. I have been a fan of Bella's for a while now and I absolutely loved the sound of this first part of a new story. When I managed to get hold of a copy of the first part, I squirreled myself away and didn't re-emerge until I had finished the last word on the last page. I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Out Of The Blue: Meet Me At Pebble Beach- Part One' but more about that in a bit.
Oh my word, Regan is an adorable character. When we first meet her, she is in a relationship with Jarvis, who sounds like a nightmare to be honest. He treats her like a doormat, he lectures her on a frequent basis and he doesn't seem to be all that supportive. Jarvis seems a bit passive-aggressive but enough about him for the time being. Regan is a young lass with a huge heart. On her way to work, she always stops off at a local coffee shop to buy coffees for her colleagues and for the homeless man, who is just outside. Regan is a very caring lass and she takes time to listen to the homeless chap when many others would just walk on by. Regan does have a job at the story of the story although I get the impression that she isn't that happy there. She has friends in the company, but at the same time they play pranks on each other, which to me aren't that funny but that's maybe just my opinion. Regan dreams of a jet set lifestyle and it looks as though her luck could be able to change when she apparently 'wins' the lottery. She doesn't hold back from letting people know exactly how she feels about them. For a while she is on a high but then she crashes back down to earth with a massive bump. She well and truly has the rug pulled out from underneath her. It was at this point that I wanted to jump inside the pages of this book to give her a hug and at the same time, slap the 'pranksters' silly, who thought it a good idea to tell her she had won the lottery. Regan is left single (although let's be honest given who she was with, singleton life isn't a bad thing), homeless (she shared Jarvis' flat) and jobless. Will things ever get better for Regan? Well for the answers to that question and more you are just going to have to read the book for yourselves to find out as I am not going to tell you.
To say that reading this first part of the series became an addiction is a massive understatement. I was drawn to this book by the bright and breezy cover and the fact that the story was set at the seaside was just the icing on the cake. The book developed a hold over me and it was a hold that I wasn't willing to break. As I explain before, this is the first part of a four part serial and so it didn't take me long to get through this first part. In fact because I loved the story so much and I had taken to Regan so well, I read the first part of the story in one continuous reading binge. I just couldn't bear to miss a single second of the story.
'Out Of The Blue: Meet Me At Pebble Beach- Part One' is brilliantly written but then I wouldn't expect anything less from Bella Osborne. She draws you into the story from the moment you start to read. Once Bella has your attention, she doesn't let it go until the moment you read the last word on the last page. Bella has created an adorable character in Regan, who is like the girl next door and who is impossible to dislike. Bella writes so realistically and uses such vivid descriptions that I felt as though I was part of the story myself.
In short, I absolutely ADORED 'Out Of The Blue: Meet Me At Pebble Beach- Part One' and I would definitely recommend it to other readers. I will definitely be reading more of Bella's work. In fact as soon as I stop typing this review I will be starting the second part of the serial. The score on the Ginger Book Geek board is a very well deserved 5* out of 5*.

Regan has one disaster after another mainly brought on by her own actions. I couldn’t believe when she thought she had good news she wasn’t going to allow either her boyfriend Jarvis or her work colleague to share it in she was just going to go and do her own thing.
Well the good news backfired and Reagan was left out in the cold with nothing. The only good thing she did was give coffee to the homeless man every morning and I think there could be a big story with him.
This has the makings of a good book and I enjoyed it. I’m not a fan of these books that are divided into three or four parts. It’s a book not a magazine you have to buy every week to follow up on a sequel.
Just write the whole book and people will read it. So frustrating!

A stunning open to a story I loved Regan from the off so many amazing themes featured and it shows just how easily any of us can fall from Grace I can’t wait to read on.

his is a great starter for the 4 part series, Meet Me at Pebble Beach. It is warm and funny and sets the scene well for Regan’s story. Her life is catapulted through a huge change at the beginning and the people she knows are also established vividly and you are aware that they all have their own backstory which I am sure will be developed in the upcoming parts. You learn quite a lot about Regan’s inherent kindness and warmth and I am looking forward to seeing whether she follows her wishlist and how much she achieved.

Thanks to Netgalley for a copy of the book.

Regan thinks she has won the lottery and she calls her boyfriend to end their relationship and she quits her job by telling her boss off. She then finds out it was a joke from a colleague. Now she has no where to sleep because she lived with her boyfriend. But a hot cop comes to the rescue, but he's not a cop.
This is part one of the series and like the other books by Bella Osborne I enjoyed it very much.

Regan is everything I normally can’t stand in a person, habitually late, a prankster, messy, lazy and work shy but god I loved her. She has a heart of gold and every morning when she buys her coffee she gets another for Kevin the homeless guy with his werewolf of a dog Elvis.

With a great cast of characters including Charlie (knight in shining armour possibly or too good to be true?) As this is only Part One and it finished on a cliffhanger that would put Dover to shame we will have to wait and see.

The humour starts right from the first chapter and even though this covers some very sensitive issues it is handled with gentle care and warmth.

If you want a book that is a nice fun easy read, one that will make you giggle and fill your heart then I thoroughly recommend this and I for one can’t wait to read Part Two.

Thank you to Net Galley and Bella Osbourne for giving me this wonderful opportunity.
This is the first part in a four-part serial and the first I have ever serial I have had the chance to read.
Regan was dreaming of what she would do if she won big with the lottery ticket she had just bought. Alex her friend at work thought that a prank of letting her think she had won would be fun.
Thinking she won she dumped her boyfriend- quit her job and made plans for using the winnings.
Finding out she had no winner set her on a path of what to do with the life now that she had nothing.
She meets Kevin and sparks are there.
The next installment will lead us further into the lives of all who she is bonding with in the story.

I love Bella Osbourne’s books so much and this one seems just as good. It’s a shame that it was only part one of the series as I would have loved to have read all of it in one go. Nevertheless I still enjoyed reading this and look forward to reading the rest of it when it comes out.
I have read a lot of Bella’s books and always enjoy the escapism of reading them, I just forget all around me and get right into the story.
My thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for giving me the opportunity to read this book in return for an honest review.

Eeek! This was only part one of the book and I am hooked! Whilst I was reading, I thought I could safely give this four stars – holding out the fifth one until I had my hands on the entire book. However, the ending was just too much. It was an easy rating and left me wanting more. I need to finish this book!

Part one focuses on establishing the protagonist, Regan. You cannot help but feel sorry for her as life disintegrates. The cruel joke played on her at work had me feeling desperately sad for Regan and this set the tone for the rest of the extract. I wanted to see Regan happy and find stability.

This book has all the right ingredients for a great chick flick book. It has the feel-good factor and likeable characters. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Regan in the rest of the book, and where Charlie, Cleo and Rega’s father fall into the narrative. I’m almost disappointed that I have read this snapshot because I don’t think I can’t wait too long to complete the full story.

My first proper taste of Bella Osborne’s writing and I am not disappointed. I am keen to see how the seaside and ‘pebble beach’ feature in the plot and know this is a great read for the beach.

With thanks to Avon books and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
