Left me on the edge of my seat wanting more! I love this series. This is Diana's story. We met her in the last book and events from that story have a big impact on her. I love the tenuous relationship between her and Bobby. Many characters from previous books appear along with a few new. The suspense and tension are high in this one and the action is fast paced. The killer from this story is revealed while setting things up for the ongoing plotline to continue in the next story. Vicious will conclude the Sins season of the series and I can't wait to see how it all ends.

While this is technically the 3rd book in this series, to me the series is set in a community with each book being centered on a different person and their actions and/or responses. So yes, it's a series but it really reads more as a stand alone with people and personalities from the first two books wandering through the story.
A young woman has been traumatized in the past. She is building her life around her goal to be safe and secure, never a victim again. But this goal is not fool proof and she must learn to trust and accept help from her past. The story is very well written, the characters very well defined. My husband says he can tell how good a book is by my sound effects....this one was very good!!!!

A well written book with the author telling the story with changing third person POV, and it works great. The characters are very good, and there is mystery, action, romance and sex. The book is part of a series, but I think it's OK to read it as a stand-alone. What isn't OK is the nonsense necessary to instigate the action scenes.

I knew I had to read this because I read the prior book, Captive, and I wanted to see what was happening. This is the third book in the series and it is standalone but would be better read in order especially because the second book features Diana’s (the current heroine) twin sister. This is a fast and exciting read. Diana was kidnapped from her wedding to Bobby in the prior book. In this book, she is still reeling from that and they still have to find the copycat killer who is mimicking the kills that her father made (the first book in the series details his horrors, I assume, though I didn’t read that book.) She had broken up with Bobby but they work together, along with other characters that were featured in these books, to track down the killer. I found the mystery of the copycat not so mysterious and quite a bit obvious but still, I enjoyed the story. It ends in a cliffhanger although the romance aspect does conclude happily with this book. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. Thanks to NetGalley for this opportunity to read the book.
