Keto folks are likely to love this book, which gives 75 recipes for savory and sweet keto waffles. The waffles are made of shredded cheese, egg and almond flour as the main ingredients but the book promised vegan and dairy-free versions so I was really excited for my son who is allergic to gluten and dairy. Unfortunately, the dairy free version is just to substitute dairy-free cheese in the recipe. That doesn't work for us for a lot of reasons -- I prefer real foods to artificial substitutes, we're stuck in a small town in a pandemic and can't travel an hour and a half away for fake cheese, and for those who care about keto (we don't), most vegan cheese is not keto.

If you do standard keto, though, you're likely to like these recipes a lot. There are color photos for every recipe and it includes basic nutritional information for each recipe, too. They tend towards revised sandwich recipes and diner comfort food kind of dishes, with slightly more than half of the recipes in the savory style. The dessert waffles look really decadent and use a lot of cream cheese and whipped cream instead of just fake sugar, but they do rely on some of that to keep it keto. I'm not familiar with the taste of those so I can't speak to how satisfying those recipes are likely to be.

Don't expect super healthy recipes. These are things like corn dog chaffles (slice hot dogs into quarters, stick them on sticks, and cook them in the batter) and chaffles with sausage gravy, or dessert chaffles piled high with whipped cream and keto caramel. For those who are missing that kind of recipe, this will be a fun book.

I had no idea what chaffels were before I opened this book. Basically, it’s a cheesy deliciousness.
This cookbook is full of fun delicious recipes, explained in easy step by step fashion and accompanied by tasty photographs that will have your mouth water. Also handy, since it’s a keto cookbook, are the nutritional facts. From savoury to sweet, there’s something for everyone.
I tried a few recipes and they went great, and tasted amazing!
So, heat up your waffle maker and get started to have a few foodgasms.

Beautiful cookbook with simple, easy to follow chaffle recipes with great ideas for how to incorporate the chaffles into desserts and meals. I'm new to the chaffle making and I appreciate all the ideas that I found here....I can't wait to try chaffle lasagna this weekend!!

wow what a great cookbook. Detailed recipes, lots of tips, great pictures. If you ever wanted to try chaffles and didn't know where to start look no further. This is pretty much the only book you'll need.

Once again Martina Slajerova doesn't disappoint! I have gone to chaffle haven. What an amazing selection of sweet and savory chaffles. These are a life save for keeping you on track with keto or being low carb. I love her ideas especially with the savory chaffles like the focaccia chaffle and corn dog chaffles! Talk about genius. Can't wait to try them.

This is a good cookbook. It has a lot of good Recipes. Although I didn’t have to get different ingredients to make them work. I would recommend it.

I tried a couple of these recipes and they were perfect every time. It gives you some fancier waffles and basic waffles with some great ideas of what to do with them or use as topics. Thanks for the great book.

Omg, this book is absolutely perfect, the recipes are so easy and look delicious,
I love so much the waffles and those recipes are heathy and creative.

I'd never heard of Chaffles before seeing this book but they are basically a cheese waffle that you can use like bread and other baked bases.
This book includes over 75 sweet and savoury recipes using the basic sweet or savoury batter at the start of each section with variations that are dairy free and egg free for different dietary needs. The book is very simple to follow and once you've got the basic mix you can pretty much use it how you would bread in other recipes for eg, burger buns, eggs benedict, three layer choc cake, smores.
Anyone on the Keto diet would enjoy expanding their recipe ideas with a book like this.

This book takes keto diet to another level!
I'm very impressed! I confess that I've never heard of chaffles before and I was very excited about this book. There are so many delicious chaffles ideas in this book! There are recipes for everyone and I don't know which one I will make first but I'm very excited! There are 75 recipes (41 are savory and 34 are sweet) and they all look fantastic! All recipes have photos, nutrition facts, servings and timing info. The ingredients and instructions are very clear. In the beginning, the book explains how to make basic chaffles, the best ingredients, how to storage them and some other tips.

I always love Martina Slajerova’s cookbooks! Sweet & Savory Keto Chaffles is full of delicious looking recipes using a few different base recipes. There are a wide variety of recipes, and they range from super easy like blueberry chaffles, to more complicated like a birthday cake made from chaffles. I love all of her ideas, the instructions are straight forward and easy to follow and I can’t wait to make them all. As with all of her cookbooks, each recipe has beautiful photos to go with it, which I LOVE. She also includes easy to read nutritional information, which includes total carbs and net carbs!

If you haven’t experienced one of her cookbooks before, I highly suggest you check them out. She makes fun, low carb meals that would appeal to anyone, with easy at home ingredients. She continues to amaze me and is one of my favorite keto chefs!

Sweet & Savory Keto Chaffles is a perfect resource for those who follow the keto WOE. I remember when chaffles first hit mainstream and they were all anyone on keto could talk about. The only thing is, it was trial and error and placing your trust in that the way someone else posted their recipe was going to work for you. Martina Slajerova has put together a wonderful resource that is chock filled with recipes for chaffles. She has presented them in an easy to read format with great pictures and nutritional information. This book is truly user friendly. Perhaps its time for me to dig out that mini chaffle maker that has never seen the light of day? I apparently had no idea what chaffels were and I have had my eyes opend to a wonderous food adventure. I have found this to be somewhat life altering as a haphazzard keto dieter. I think I am in chaffel nervana.

This cookbook is full of fun delicious recipes with easy step by step instructions and great photographs.

I tried a few recipes and they were um deliish so it is a win for us!
If you like cheese then heat up your waffle iron and get ready to have some life altering food experiences.

This is a fun cookbook that gave me lots of new ideas to make waffles! Yum! These are so really great ideas & my daughter loved trying different combinations for her waffles!

As a chaffle novice, I found this book very helpful! The beginning provides a basic overview about chaffles. There are tips on producing the best quality chaffles, cooking techniques, and tools to use. There is a small section dedicated to sauces you might use on the chaffles. The main book is broken down into sweet and savory chaffles, and there is a great variety for anyone to eat. There are nutrition facts, which I found helpful, and tips for making various recipes vegan, dairy free, and so on.

Overall I found this easy to read and the recipes were simple to follow. I will be giving some of these tasty recipes a try!

My partner and son decided they were going to eat Keto so when I saw this book on NetGalley I felt a need to take a look. Never heard of Chaffles before? Nope, me either until now. A cross between a waffle and a churro I guessed. Regardless, very yummy!

With a huge range of recipes of all types, there is something in here for everyone, of any age. The keto way of life has become more popular but often people don't realise that "treats" and sweet foods can be included. It's not as boring as people may believe. So cookbooks like this are a breath of fresh air when you have been craving something you once ate before going keto. When you do keto properly your body goes into "ketosis" and this is when the body starts burning up fat stores basically. It's not for everyone but it can be excellent for your health and weight loss.

A really nice book, fabulous range of recipes and easy to read and follow. Highly recommended if you need that sweet keto fix, in fact even if not on keto living, try making some anyway! Great for those doing low-carb also.

This is such an excellent resource to get theee perfect chaffle. I have tried a few recipes online and have always ended up with soft waffles (or hard waffles that were inedible). This book provides the answer on how to achieve that perfect crispy waffle texture.

Also, I love love love that she also has sweet waffle recipes included as well. The birthday cake & s’mores recipe have caught my eye and is definitely on my list to make soon. The majority of the recipes in this book aren’t your basic run of the mill keto recipes either; they are decadent yet simple. I have so many recipes bookmarked for me to make, I’m just looking for the time to make all of them.

This is not the first time trying out recipes from the author. I have tried several recipes from her website ketodietapp.com and, just like her blog, the one’s in this book didn’t disappoint.

So if you don’t want to waste any time searching up chaffle recipe online or you were part of the chaffle craze in late 2019 and purchased the Dash mini waffle maker & want to put it to good use, this book is for you.

I was so intrigued by this cookbook! Although I do not follow a keto diet, I always enjoy looking at new recipes and am intrigued by chaffles as a starch replacement. I love that almond flour is the base (and plan to also try chickpea flour). I look forward to trying many recipes including Spanakopita chaffles, Snickerdoodle chaffles, and Lemon Poppy Seed chaffles.

Keto or cutting down on carbs or gluten? Craving a sweet blueberry muffin, a savory pepperoni pizza or lasagna but not the carbs they typically have? Then, the Sweet and Savory Keto Chaffles cookbook is for you.

These are not your grandma's waffles. They emulate many of the flavors missing from a low carb diet. Some of the savory Chaffles include sloppy joe, Reuben sandwich and Eggs Benedict. The sweet ones are unusual with pumpkin pie and tiramisu flavored Chaffles too.

The one disadvantage is you have to have a waffle iron to make these delicious sounding recipes. Once you dig yours out of your garage or attic, you're set. Every recipe has a color photograph and complete nutritional information. Explanations are provided to avoid other allergens too. Overall, Sweet and Savory Keto Chaffles is a tasty option for those Keto lovers or carb deniers out there. 4 stars!

Absolutely loved this! Keto recipes are so easy to seem repetitive for me, but this book was full of incredible ideas, yummy treats and great photos to go with it! I’ll be using this for a long time!

This is an absolute MUST for the Keto dieter!! This is especially handy and needed for the beginner keto dieter! This is the only book you'll need for Chaffles! Bravo!

Sweet & Savory Keto Chaffles by Martina Slajerovo

For someone on the Keto diet this would be a fun book to have on their cookbook shelf. The photographs are gorgeous, and the ingredients put together to create the recipes sound divine. I was salivating as I read through the book wishing I could find the ingredients where I live. Some items are just harder to find in a small village in the country of Lebanon.

The basic recipes are given in the beginning with the best cheeses for making chaffles. Additional ingredients are added in some recipes but the basic recipes are easily made if you can find almond or coconut flour and protein powder – the items I cannot find here – to add to baking powder, cheeses, specified fat, seasonings and sweeteners.

Nutritional values for each recipe are provided and that was…interesting. I also found the creativity in use of chaffles to create such an array of dishes intriguing. This is definitely a book that those following this diet would enjoy having at home and I can see purchasing it as a gift for Keto diet following friends.
