I really enjoyed reading this with my little one as he knew the tune and happily hummed along meaning it kept his attention and was fun for both of us.
I was massively keen on the illustrations but thats my personal preference
My son and I read this together and he loved it. He loves dogs anything to do with his canine friends. It was well written and drew him in from the very first page. He actually acted out scenes from the book later. It’s fun, engaging and humorous. We loved it and would highly recommend it.
Written to the tune of 'This is the Way', we follow the children of Dogtown as they go about their daily business. This will be great for little ones who are just starting to go to school and get a routine established, as it will allow them to remember the steps and actions to complete during each time of the day. The colour palette is very soothing and beautiful, perfectly showing the different lighting that you get throughout the day, which is a simple but effective inclusion. My daughter's favourite thing about this book was the bedtime scene at the end: the bedroom is filled with dinosaurs, and she broke out into a huge smile as soon as she spotted them.
What a great book. Children will enjoy this different version of Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush but with daily activities from Dog Town. The illustrations are cute too. Thank you for the opportunity to review this book.
We loved singing this book together! It ia lovely story and is lots of fun to read together, and look at all the dogs, in the book. Ada loves dogs, so this brought a lot of joy to her. It is now a fun one that we started our bedtime routine with, as the doggies went to sleep. so she was ready for sleep. The illustrations are really lovely as well. Overall, a wonderful read!
This book was adorable and extremely helpful with my nanny kids (ages 2 and 3) and their daily needs. The 3 year old absolutely loves animals and the dogs helped to get her to stick to her daily routines, especially in the morning. We use the book as a sing-song in loop to our routine and make it more fun instead of a normal chore. The art style for this book was also pleasing to look at and we spent plenty of time looking at every picture to see the little details included to the book. I will need to pick up a physical copy for my nanny kids pretty soon!
