Description
She was reborn as a human, but does this really mean she had become one?
Two worlds are about to collide. And what seems to be strangely familiar may not be familiar at all.
For the human crew stranded on Aldeea, the only way back home is to travel deeper into an alien empire. A world of architectural marvels and untamed wilderness, of ancient traditions and unknown peril. A world where humanity’s first contact is increasingly about to become the bargaining chip between two warring civilisations.
At the other end of the Dominion, a new queen ascends. Or an old one is reborn and quenched into the furnace of a sun. A queen who’s neither Haillar nor human but destined to become the bridge between both races.
In the end, Endeavour’s crew needs to make their choice before it’s too late. Are they ready to welcome an ally who might alter humanity’s path to the stars, or are they prepared to risk our entire species’ annihilation
A fast-paced space exploration saga featuring a strong alien female protagonist. A story for the fans of “Avatar” and “The Host”, a story about love and war, but ultimately a story about friendship and trust

I definitely recommend reading Phoenix, book one of this series before reading Human because characters and important plot points continue. This book was just as great if not better than Phoenix and certainly will not suffer from middle book syndrome. TS Alexander has created a truly original concept in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Neither of these books drag or have any boring parts, even if the amount of characters is long; I am enjoying this series immensely and cannot wait for book 3!!!
The Avatar Series by TS Alexander starting with Phoenix is highly recommended for a series of books when all books are strong. I need to own a hard copy of these and not just a kindle version for easier re-reading because they are that good.
Thanks to Netgalley, TS Alexander and Books Go Social for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
