Clean Treats for Everyone is exactly what the title promises - it's all the sweet and chocolatey stuff you could want, made with clean ingredients. And the author takes the "everyone" part of the title very seriously and notes known allergens, when, and with what, they can be switched up with.
I really liked how all recipes were presented, and even the weirdest sounding ones, e.g. Chocolate Zucchini Bread, sounded quite inviting.
Another great thing about the book is the design - with small notes about the recipe giving more than one type of measurements, so it's suitable for more people - I work with ml and grams much better than 1/2 cup, 2 tbsp, etc.
Overall, definitely something worth checking out when in need of something to sate your sweet-tooth.

This is such a wonderful cookbook. The recipes are free of refined sugar, and would work well for people on restricted diets. I'm allergic to diary and eggs and wheat and I was able to find quite a few recipes that I could use (although not all the recipes were egg-free.) The pictures are beautiful. And there's a wide variety of recipes to choose from.

I am often torn between trying to reduce our family intake of refined sugars and allowing my kids to bake whatever they want. I love that my children enjoy baking but do we really need this much sugar in our diet? Finally, I think we've found a book that bridges the gap. Having looked through this book with them, we already have many recipes bookmarked to bake for packed lunches when they return to school next week. The hardest part, it seems, will be narrowing it down to just one or two.

I love the handy notation for suitability for various diets on each recipe - a really practical help when choosing recipes knowing a visitor is coming. One thing I have would have liked to see would be a similar icon denoting whether the recipe can be frozen (I like to bake large batches to freeze where possible).

I'm looking forward to this book being released, as are my children, and will definitely be buying a copy to add to our shelves.

If you want to make yourself super hungry, this is the cookbook for you. I'm an absolute sugar fiend, I cant get enough of sweet treats, so this was great for me. Lots of ideas on how to make some treats with slightly healthier ingredients. Whilst I wouldn't necessarily describe the book as healthy, it's not a bad way to add some better nutrients to some old classics.

I can basically see myself working my way through the list and trying everything. I liked the little circles indicating whether recipes were gluten free, dairy free etc etc. I can imagine this is the kind of book useful in friends households where the younger members have certain allergies.

All in all, delicious. Great pictures, well thought out recipes. Now to get in the kitchen.

This book really surprised me, usually you have to buy a ton of ingredients to make these type of recipes, but you can use what you already have as a starting point. This couldn’t have come at a better time as well, as I need to cut down my sugar intake. I can recommend this book.

This book is great for those who like a sweet treat, but don't want it to wreck your diet and completely cancel that workout! Although I am not a huge dessert girl, every so often I get that craving for something sweet. I liked that each recipe was clearly labeled if it was diary free, gluten free and so on. I also liked all the different sections - especially the selection of smoothies!

I haven't read her previous clean cookbooks and after reading this one, I will definitely be going to check them out to see what other things she has to offer.

I am making a 4-week no sugar challenge, so when I saw a book about healthy treats and snacks, I know I need this for some idea.
I really loved this one. There are a lot of types of sweets: muffins, brownies, ice creams, bars, etc. The only one recipe I missed is pancakes :) Most of the recipe contains coconut or almond milk and flour, honey. There are just a few texts before the recipes, so most of the book is about the recipes. There is also a photo for almost every recipe which I really like.
I didn’t try out anything yet, but I found a lot which I wrote out myself.

Oh yes! So many fantastic recipes. I’m in a hurry to finish this review, because I need to make the chocolate cake immediately. Lots of different recipes, so that everyone can find something they like, even the really picky ones. It’s very easy to veganize almost all of the recipes, which is good.

Some of the pictures made me drool, and quite a few recipes are on my “must try” list. The cheesecakes look absolutely delicious. I will make the key lime pie and banana cream pie as soon as possible. The strawberry shortcake bar picture is so beautiful that I wonder if anyone can skip trying that one.

A very good book for anyone wanting to make and eat desserts, but want to avoid regular sugar and wheat flour. I find that the recipes can easily be amended if needed.

I got a free advance reader copy through NetGalley. Some of the treats were without a picture. Hopefully the final version has pictures of every single end product.

The recipes in this cookbook sound amazing and look delicious!!! Laura uses a lot of oat, almond, and coconut flour in place of less healthy options. Coconut sugar and honey are commonly used in place of regular sugar, so be aware that treats are probably still high in calories and sugar, but it appears that smaller quantities are used so it likely equates to less sugar than these items are normally made with. There is a very vast array of dessert types, including pies, cookies, bars, fudge, frozen treats, cakes, etc. Most, but not all, recipes have a beautiful picture to depict. I would estimate there are for 70-75% of the recipes. My biggest caveat with this book is that there are no nutritional facts. Typically health conscious people, which I would think are the target audience for this book, would like to see the nutrition of what they are consuming and it was a huge bummer that there are none at all!

A book of amazing tasty and clean recipes.
They are easy to make and do not include ingredients that are hard to find.
She makes baking seem effortless as these treats are definitely bound to make you get up and start preparing them.
I am so excited to try these out.
I can not wait to get a physical copy of this book and turn back to it at all times.

I think I might actually be able to get my husband to eat some of these healthy treats!

This recipe book is filled with beautiful pictures, easy to follow recipes, and a icons to identify whether the recipes meets specific dietary restrictions.

Chapter 1 provides an overview called "The Basics of Clean Eating and Baking". This includes a list of items to keep handy, such as Nuts and Seeds, Clean Fats, and Natural Sweeteners.

Chapter 2 is "Oven-Fresh Treats" with recipes like Cranberry Orange Muffins, Chocolate Mug Cake, Pumpkin Spice Coffee Cake, Raspberry Crumble Bars, cookies & scones, Baked Apple Crisp and Pumpkin Pie!.

Chapter 3 is "No-Bake Treats" including bite-sized treats (think Carrot Cake and Lemon Blueberry Bites), Edible Cookie Dough (this will win over my husband for sure!), Chocolate Chip Blondie, different kinds of granola bars, Strawberry Shortcake Bars, Chocolate Hazelnut Spread and no-bake Banana Cream Pie and five different cheesecakes. There are also some easy treats like Apple Nachos and Banana Split Sundaes!

Chapter 4 is "Warm drinks, Smoothies and Frozen Treats" with Hot Cocoa, PSL, Caramel Macchiato, Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake, smoothies & shakes, as well as ice cream and other frozen treats!

I wish there was nutritional information included with each recipe. I would feel better about eating these indulgences if I had that information.

Overall, I love this recipe book and I can't wait to try some of the recipes!

However, once I started to delve into this book, I was very tempted by the eclectic array of treats on offer. In my mind I am already rewriting next week’s shopping list, in order to maximise the number of clean treats we can try. I must remember that there’s a limit to the amount of treats one family can eat!

The lemon bars were divine and next I would like to move on to the banana choc chip bars.

My husband and I tried a few of the recipes in this book and we are HOOKED! The flavors are out of this world. I knew I had to read as soon as I saw the cover photo, because we typically make a very unhealthy alternative of the pictured squares. We brought the book version to my parents house and they liked them even more! Healthy and tasty ... it's a win-win. I'll definitely be trying more of these recipes in the future. The instructions are very clear and the images make my mouth water.

Clean Treats for Everyone initially caught my attention because of the crisp photo on the cover. The food photography throughout the entire cookbook was phenomenal. Even the treats that don't normally interest me had me drooling because of the photos. I was taken with the font choice and the clean/white space used for each of the recipes. I found it easier to follow the directions for cooking with the larger white spaces around the verbiage. The healthier options for desserts is a must have read for those baking with kids.

Clean Treats for Everyone by Laura Fuentes is a nice cookbook for those who are looking to learn a healthier way to make sweets. Most of the ingredients are fairly easy to find and learning to make some was a nice touch, but seems time consuming. I guess this would be good if you are searching for that sweet snack and prefer a healthier way to make it, I’m just not sure that it’s worth the extra work for me personally.

Gorgeous book! I would make almost every single recipe in this book! Not all the recipes have photos but the ones that does are mouthwatering! Every recipe tells you if it is gluten-free, dairy free, egg free, nut free or vegan and they use ingredients such coconut milk, oat flour, coconut sugar and almond butter. This book is what it says. A superb collect of tantalising recipes made in a clean way. When I say that it means with unprocessed or minimally processed products. These tasty recipes have been made with Easy to find products. Giving these baked good to your family will put a smile on your face knowing you are giving them something healthy but nutritious.
An easy to follow book. Clearly labelled and great photographs. I’ve already highlighted so may to try baking with my daughter.

Having had some dietary/GI issues in the last couple of years despite my clean eating habits, I'm still self-experimenting with what I can actually process and I'm excited to try the recipes from Clean Treats. I've never made my own oat flour (just recently discovered that I can do oat milk), and I'm a coconut lover in general (thankfully lots of coconut included in the recipes), so there are a few things I've added to my baking to-do list. While the instructions aren't numbered, the photos and clean design of the book make it easy to follow. #CleanTreatsforEveryone #NetGalley

Clean Treats for Everyone is a beautiful cookbook with good recipes. All the recipes are free of refined sugars, yet the recipes are inviting and something that I really would want to make. There are no weird or rare ingredients but rather those ingredients that everyone has on hand or in their cupboards. There are many recipes to choose from and all the photos are beautiful. This really is a good, clean eating cookbook.

Wonderful recipes of yummy goodness, much healthier than the tried and true treats you find on store shelves. Some might seem intimidating and complicated, but after trying to eat a cleaner lifestyle I realized it isn't near as hard as it first seems and is actually even tastier, with richer, fuller flavors. And even fun! Beautiful photos, well organized, and creative. She uses a lot of oat, almond, and coconut flour, and I actually learned how to make my own oat flour to make things easier than trying to buy. Recommended for those who want a treat but crave a healthier version.

Even the most finicky eater will find some love for these clean treats. From some beautiful bread recipes, to bars, cookies, ice cream, cake, and pies... just in a more natural clean eating way. No matter your allergen you will find something that will amaze you and make you want to head to your kitchen....stat.

What did I like? I loved the friendliness of the cook book and the wonderful pictures. The zucchini bread caught my eye, along with lemon bars and the caramel sauce. I’m just going to have to find some oat flour first. All the recipes are pretty much gluten free, and as long as you buy milk free chocolate they should all be dairy free as well. This is a fantastic find for people looking to replace sugar.

Would I recommend or buy? I would love a copy! I think this was a fabulous idea for a cookbook. Clean eating is a must! People with diet restrictions will love this idea. I can’t wait to make the zucchini bread. A fantastic find!

I liked the basic information on clean eating and what to keep in my pantry. Simple icons at the top of each recipe help you find the right one for your dietary restrictions.

I loved this cookbook and I look forward to making some of these recipes in the very near future. I appreciate that the clean, non processed, aspect of the recipes still included most if not all of the items I currently have in my pantry. The recipes don't seem too difficult to put together, the recipes seem simple to follow and the recipes + pictures are drool worthy. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this on netgalley and was approved of for this book!

I will be adding this cookbook to my collection. I draw a hard line when it comes to cookbooks and this one hits all of my requirements, beautiful pictures, ingredients that I can find in the Midwest, clear ingredients list, and easy to follow instructions. I really liked the variety of recipes. The ones I made my family enjoyed.

Many recipes look delicious, and I will try them out. I like most of the ingredients and that you can swap them with milk or butter if you prefer that option. The design of the book is very nice, which is important for cookbooks.

I don't like the use of a microwave in this book, but that's a personal preference, I guess. The majority of baked recipes are for the oven, though. It's a pity that there isn't a photograph next to each recipe. 4,5 stars

I can't wait to make some of these! My husband is lactose intolerant and we do paleo and keto so these recipes look really great for those! I liked the pictures throughout, they make it all look very enticing. I liked the recipes and tips too.

So many yummy recipes to try! I am always on the lookout for new recipes I can try and this one is loaded with yummy treats. Bonus points for the author making all the recipes gluten and dairy-free! Some come with nut free options as well.

I've been eating a gluten free diet, by necessity, for nearly a decade. And while we as a community have come a LONG way, it's still not perfect. I get so tired of making my own flour blends and having to test and retest old family recipes that I convert over. All the recipes in Clean Treats for Everyone use strategies and tried and true methods I have found over my years of recipe testing. Such an awesome bonus!

There are so many of these recipes I want to try, I literally have a list on my counter right now so the kids and my husband can vote on what they want me to try first. Lucky for me grocery day is tomorrow so I can stock up on ingredients. Yay!

If you enjoy clean eating but still find yourself looking for a sweet treat at the end of a long workday... this is the perfect recipe book for you! Definitely scoop this one up.

This is great for those who love a sweet treat but are unable to indulge due to specific dietary requirements or limitations. The book begins by giving you the tools to create some of the unique ingredients you will require such as almond flour. There is a wide range and variety of recipes to suit all people and occasions. It also includes a really useful colour key to allow you to see at a glance what recipes are suitable for those with certain diets.

I am so glad I got the privilege of receiving an ARC copy of this book. It’s right down my alley. I have a sweet tooth but when I have a treat I want it to be as clean as possible. Clean Treats for Everyone has a wide variety of such recipes and I’ve tested a few already. The strawberry ice cream was so easy to make and tasted AMAZING. I also topped it off with the homemade magic shell. HEAVEN. This is a cookbook I want in my kitchen. I highly recommend this book.

This book is Just what I needed! After switching to a "Clean" life style, sometimes, it can be hard to find recipes to suit your needs but still be tasty. Clean Treats for Everyone gives the Tasty treats that you don't have to break out those treat days for. The recipes are just yummy!

The only thing I found that I wanted more of in this book was some recipes that offered grain free flours. That would have made this book perfect!

I became a fan of Laura Fuentes with her Taco Tuesday Cookbook.,so I was excited to check out her newest cook book. Clean Treats for Everyone is exactly what it promises to be: a cookbook giving you the chance to indulge in guilty pleasures without the guilt normally associated with that. The cookbook is full of treats for a variety of diets including gluten, dairy, egg, and nut-free as well as vegan. The ingredient lists are practical and not full of elusive ingredients that are impossible to find or will bust your grocery budget.

My favorite part of this book is the variety of the recipes. I can't think of a style of treat that was not included in this book. We've got hot and cold, bake and no-bake, quick to medium labor intensive, drinks, bars, cookies, cakes, muffins, ice-cream, fudge, snacks, candies, pies, shakes, cheesecakes and more. I'm impressed with all the variety in this cookbook, and while I still may use my very guilty recipes to make some treats on occasion, this book offers so many helpful alternatives to make a healthy lifestyle an easier choice.

There's also a decent commonality of ingredients across the pages, so you're not left wondering what to do with an entire jar of something after using a small amount (an issue I have with many cookbooks). The information shared at the start of the book sets you up for success and Laura does a great job sharing tips and background info throughout the cookbook. The directions are clear and easy to follow. I loved all the photos as well. I'll definitely be making more recipes from this cookbook once I get to the grocery store--starting with the cinnamon roll smoothie and PSL!

Man these treats look delicious. Maybe it's just because I've been on an anti-inflammatory/chronic illness food elimination diet for months so anything remotely dessert-related looks amazing, or maybe they really are as good as they look - I plan to try many of these, so I'll report back. Regardless, it's wonderful to have a resource full of options for gluten-free, dairy-free, and processed sweetener-free treats for those special occasions in life.

This is a wonderful book for anyone looking to eat clean treats! I have been trying to eat healthier and cleaner and this book is perfect! The author explains what eating clean is, provides a shopping list and then provides so many mouthwatering recipes! I am so excited to try these recipes- especially the brownies, edible cookie dough and cinnamon roasted chickpeas. Thank you to NetGalley and Fair Winds Press for an ARC copy.

This was an enjoyable cookbook that had lots of recipes. I have not tried any yet, but they all look very delicious. The only problem I have with this cookbook is that it calls for lots of ingredients I don't have in my pantry. So be prepared to go on a shopping trip if you get this! Overall, I would recommend this for anyone who wants to experiment with healthier versions of their favorite treats.

Okay, let me start out by saying that I have an intolerance for dairy but have a real sweet tooth, which makes most desserts my sworn enemies...

In this book, I counted 54 recipes I want to try. FIFTY FOUR. Just take that in for a second.

Now I will share full transparency, when it comes to cookbooks, I'm a nightmare for buying them as 'coffee table' books. I love the pictures and drool over the recipes, but 85% of the time I'll make one out of the whole book (or sometimes none!)

My biggest pet peeve with 'clean eating' recipe books, is the need to go out and buy obscure ingredients that literally nobody has in their cupboard on a regular day. Don't get me wrong, there are a couple of ingredients in this one that I think I may need to go to a specialist store for, but one of my favourite things about this book in particular is that Laura shares how to make a few of them too - like oat flour and flax egg.

Each recipe is laid out in a clear and simple manner, with most accompanied by glorious, drool-inducing photos. No fuss, no confusion. Oh, and for us UK chefs, each recipe has grams and millilitre measurements for the ingredients as well as cups!

Overall, I'm excited to try as many of these recipes as I can! (I figure it's probably better for me to have some homemade and 'healthy' treats in the house for when my sugar cravings kick in, rather than ploughing my way through an entire tub of ice cream or store bought bags of doughnuts/cookies/brownies/other cake related goodies).

This book focuses on making treats that use the least amount of processing (coconut sugar and maple syrup over white and brown sugars), recipes are gluten free, dairy free (with dairy sub ideas if you prefer to keep dairy in your diet), and also nut free options. (And notes for egg free and vegan recipes, which I appreciate). This makes it great for a variety of allergies that many people unfortunately deal with. It gives a quick shopping/pantry list to be able to whip up a treat when wanted.

I am loving this cookbook. The pages are bright and inviting with many recipes having pictures, which I love. Muffins, sliced breads, energy balls, bars, cookies, pies and cheesecakes, drinks, ice creams, popsicles, and smoothies. You won't need any crazy equipment and should be able to make a plethora of these recipes without having to purchase anything extra.

The ingredients are very simple and easy to find. I couldn't think of anything you might struggle to find. Nuts and seeds, like nut butters, coconut, cashews, fruits, and maple syrup, honey or coconut sugar are your go to ingredients. These recipes will taste great but also provide the nutrition of whole foods with vitamins, minerals, and fiber you won't get from processed white flour grocery store treats.

Yum, I love this book! So many yummy treats for me to bake and so many are gluten free which is nice as I’m coeliac. I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone with allergies or just people wanting to avoid certain products whilst still enjoying delicious yummy treats

Then each chapter further breaks into specific types of items, including breakfast, snacks, decadent treats, and healthier choices. Everything is naturally gluten free, and the ingredient lists seem like items that most people would be able to get at a grocery store. There are color photos for a majority but not all of the recipes. The recipes also have labels like dairy free, egg free, and vegan, and those indicators are included on the section lists of recipes for easy identification. This would be a great book for someone starting in clean eating or GF diet, or to expand your available treat recipes.

This was exactly what I hoped for; quick and easy healthy dessert recipes, a logical layout with easy food sensitivity labels, and aesthetic food pictures.

Though not all of the recipes interested me, there were plenty that I was excited to try, and more I still want to! I was a bit worried going into it, that the ingredients would be obscure, but I haven't run into that problem.

Written into four chapters, the book starts with the basics of clean eating and cooking before moving on to the recipes. Oven-fresh treats, no-bake treats, warm drinks smoothies and frozen treats, this book packs quite a bit.

I would recommend if your a fan of the author, wanting to try new cleaner treats, or just new dessert recipes in general!

I am really enjoying this dessert cookbook. I wouldn't classify my diet in any particular group. I'm not totally vegan or vegetarian, although I eat many of those types of foods. I don't really follow any named diet. I'm just someone who wants to try and eat a little better. This cookbook gives me treats that use natural ingredients so that when I do snack, it is in a healthier way.

I have just made the almond cranberry granola bars, which were delicious. The chocolate mug cake is next on my list, and then the lemon bars. However, I will be trying lots of recipes in this book.

If you want some recipes for some sweet treats made in a healthier way, you will love this cookbook.

Clean Treats for Everyone is a lifesaver for people that are sugar free. I have the hardest time finding snacks and desserts I can eat. The recipes in Clean Treats for Everyone are easy and delicious.

Clean Treats for Everyone starts with informative information about clean eating. Then goes on to amazing recipes. The recipes show different dietary restrictions.

I highly recommend Clean Treats for Everyone for anyone that is sugar free or looking for sugar free snacks and desserts.

The double chocolate banana bread is amazing.

Clean Treats for Everyone is full of healthy deserts primarily aimed at the US market. There are some appealing recipes that I might try with a few substitutions of ingredients, but there is probably not enough to convince me to buy it. Lots of information is provided on clean eating which is perfect if you are new to the subject or want to try it out I liked the photos but would have preferred one for every recipe. It is well structured and visually appealing and I liked that it only has treats in. Rather a lot of sugar is used even if it is the healthier versions, but you can always adapt the recipes to reduce this. Overall a nice feel good recipe book.

Mmmmm!! This is a feast for the soul, full of reduced guilt takes on classic bakes, family favourites and easy to follow instructions.
I love how this book uses easy to follow instructions, and photos of what the desserts will look like, and amounts that each bake will yield. It is generally easy to multiply the ingredients for mass baking, or sometimes reduce the quantities for a smaller yield (but who ever does that?!)
The book is American and the quantities in the book are given in cups. I am British, but well versed in Amerian recipes, and I regularly use a set of widely available measuring cups to avoid translating into grams. In general, I think the ingredients used are also widely available, the more unusual things called for in a lot of the recipes are coconut flour, coconut sugar, almond butter, and almond flour, so might require a trip to the bigger supermarket or health food store, or of course an online shop, for those items.
I was an avid baker some years ago but in recent years I have done much less baking, as myself and those around me have become more conscious of our sugar intake. However this book has let me see that you can have cleaner treats using goodies such as coconut flour, and a little treat now and then doesn't hurt! I'm looking forward to getting back to baking with this book!!

I've read all of Laura Fuentes' other cookbooks, and they're all well done. This book is no exception. I have multiple food restrictions, and I appreciate that quite a few of these recipes can be adapted further (i.e. being made dairy free, or vegan). My one complaint is that quite a few recipes use coconut flour, which cannot be subbed with another flour. I find coconut flour to give an unpleasant texture and taste to baked goods. But that's my personal preference; I'll simply be skipping those recipes.
There are quite a few recipes I plan to try from this book, the Key Lime Pie Squares being first.
Another great job from this author!

Clean Treats for Everyone is a tutorial and recipe collection for clean treats collected and developed by Laura Fuentes. Released 6th Oct 2020 by Quarto on their Fair Winds Press imprint, it's 176 pages and is available in paperback format.
This is a very well presented cookbook full of appealing and healthy treats with an emphasis on unprocessed, unrefined, healthy ingredients. The results are gloriously tasty and decadent, despite being "good for you". The author has a very contemporary informal style of writing which appealed to me. She seems friendly and open and the non-recipe parts of the book are accessible and interesting.

The introduction covers "clean eating" and cooking and what it entails, some benefits and how to start. The introductory material also includes a useful pantry/shopping list with tips on storage as well as how to combine clean eating with other specialized diets such as gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free. There's also a useful short intro to cooking tools and supplies. The recipes themselves are arranged into chapters by baked goods, and no-bake.

The recipes contain an introduction, specialized allergy/diet info (gluten, nut, dairy-free etc). Recipe ingredients are listed bullet style in the sidebar with both American standard and metric measurements in parentheses (yay!). The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Ingredients are easily sourced at any moderately well stocked grocery store. Some items may need to be sourced from health-food or co-op grocers (almond flour, coconut sugar, etc), but there's nothing that is "way out" there in terms of accessibility. Nutritional info is not included.

The photography is not plentiful, but the photos which are included are clear and illustrative. Serving suggestions are appealing and appropriate. This is a very nice collection of sweets with emphasis on flavor and visual appeal.

Five stars.

This book has so many yummy treats to make. I tried a few of the recipes and you can't tell they're 'clean' options! some recipes did require ingredients I didn't have in the pantry (i.e Coconut Oil/Almond Butter), however once purchased I could use them across a number of recipes.

It's definitely one to check out if you're looking for cleaner versions of your usual treats, we've replaced my partner's expensive and high sugar product with the 'Chunky Monkey' ice cream!

In “Clean Treats for Everyone,” Lauren Santos promises as “crave-worthy treats you can make with simple ingredients you already have in your pantry.”

While not everyone may start out with ingredients like flax and chia seeds, almond and coconut flour, coconut sugar, or tapioca starch, they are easily found in most grocery stores (or on Amazon). There are also recipes—like the one I made—that simply call for rolled oats to make oat flour! Given how accessible the ingredients are and how delicious the recipes, I’d say that Santos delivers on her promise!

The organization of the cookbook is excellent. The recipes are separated into treats that you bake, treats that you don’t bake, and drinks, smoothies, and frozen treats. Within each chapter, Santos further groups the recipes based on whether, for example, you slice the treat to serve it.

Santos clearly designates whether recipes will fit within the reader’s dietary restrictions, marking the recipes as gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, nut-free, and vegan. If you have a favorite baked good—from chocolate cake to pumpkin pie to raspberry crumble to edible cookie dough—it’s probably in this book!

The recipe that I decided to bake first was the cranberry orange muffins. The recipes were easy to follow along and turned out to be delicious. Cranberry orange muffins are a favorite of mine growing up, and I hadn't found a gluten free recipe that I was excited about until trying this one! I'm so excited and will bake it again in the future. (I do wish she had included a note about how much oats were required for the oat flour. Even though she gives the proportions early in the cookbook, it would be nice to not have to do the math.)

Santos writes a brief introduction to each recipe and sometimes includes suggestions for modifying the recipe. Most (but not all) of the recipes come with beautiful photos.

This is a cookbook that I would recommend as an excellent resource for anyone with food allergies or intolerances and to moms and party hosts who want to make easy, delicious treats that will accommodate a variety of dietary needs.
