A Note From the Publisher

G.L. Davies is the author of the worldwide bestselling A Most Haunted House. He created theparanormalchronicles.com in October 2013.

Born in 1975, G L Davies lives in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. He studied hauntings in 19th-century literature.

Davies' passion has always been for the paranormal and has spent years listening to and collating local ghost stories and myths. He admits he is on the fence in terms of his beliefs; he has witnessed many strange occurrences in his life but prefers to travel the psychological and rational route before making any assumptions.
He respects the views of all on the subject, maintaining that no person alive has the necessary knowledge and understanding of time, space and the intricacies of the human mind to be certain about the paranormal.

Davies' paranormal reports for theparanormalchronicles.com and Pembrokeshire Beyond have made national and international news. His roadside haunting report was covered in the Fortean Times in June 2015. Davies conducted a live investigation for 102.5 Radio Pembrokeshire, and his first book A Most Haunted House featured in the September 2015 Issue of Take a Break: Fate and Fortune, August 2015 issue. His work on Spectrophilia featured in Paranormal Underground Magazine in May 2016 as well as in the Sun newspaper.

He has guested on multiple Paranormal radio shows including Coast to Coast A.M, TalkRADIO and Paranormal Soup with Jason Bland, as well as featuring on BBC Radio Wales.

G L Davies describes himself as down to earth and passionate about the paranormal. He has been quoted as saying, 'There will be a day where the paranormal will simply be known as normal. I long for that day.'

How did life on Earth really begin, was it through evolution or divine creation? Well, there’s another alternative, one that is gaining in popularity - and that is that we were engineered by advanced alien beings! So, are we the only intelligent life form in the universe?

Stephen Hawking once said “If aliens visit us, the outcome would be much as when Columbus landed in America, which didn’t turn out well for the Native Americans “

Author G L Davies, had spent many years studying the paranormal before he decided to take a closer look at UFO and alien activity reports in his home county of Pembrokeshire in Wales, known locally as the Welsh Triangle. One case in particular stood out, and the story that ‘Susan ‘ (not her real name) related about her alien visitations, and what the aliens have in mind for the human race is a really sobering and frightening tale.

I approached this book with an open mind, and discovered an account of repeated alien abductions that Susan had suffered, and her account results in an extraterrestrial nightmare, which was so terrifying and distressing to read, that one has to ask the question, was ‘Susan’s’ account real, or is this someone suffering from delusional disorder? If it is real, then we all have something to worry about. Read it for yourself, then you decide!

This read was way out of my normal genre choices but the description picked my interest. I can honestly say I don’t believe everything presented in this story. It is proclaimed to be a true representation of one woman’s experience being haunted by aliens. Some of the story was alarming, graphic, and very descriptive of what she believes happened to her.
The writing was done well, the author does not try to sway our thoughts, he just writes it as he heard it and leaves the rest for us to make our own opinions. I appreciated that. If you believe in the body snatcher aliens then this book will be something you will enjoy.
I want to thank John Hunt Publishing Ltd and NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to read and review this book for my honest unbiased opinion. This one comes in with 4 stars.

I never read non-fiction. I certainly don't read non-fiction alien books! However, something drew me to this book. I have to say I have been left speechless. The whole content is fascinating and terrifying in equal measures. I'm not sure where I stand in terms of belief but it has certainly given me food for thought and I have to admit to resonating with certain things mentioned.

This isn't normally the sort of book I would read but was really interesting. It left me with questions and wondering if there is something really out there.

I received a Galley proof of this book via Netgalley, so a big thank you from me to the Publisher, and of course Netgalley.
What’s it all about?
Firstly, this is not a book I would usually read and provide a review for, but I’m glad I did. The book is a presentation of a series of interviews centered on a person called Susan, who is experiencing emotional and physical trauma in relation to close encounters of many kinds! This book is not what you think ! It does not lend itself to the usual Alien visitation writings, but is a very human story of courage, strength and more importantly a warning!
The writer positions himself as neither an advocate, or repudiator of such claims; but merely reports the testimony and fact checks the information as far as humanly possible. This is a true story, as claimed by the person called Susan. Who is very relatable and ordinary. The testimonies are detailed, torturous and macabre; providing the reader with some very emotionally difficult witness accounts to absorb and understand .
What’s good about it?
Many things are good about this book, its very readable, and keeps you interested. It also makes you think and keeps you questioning your own position on fact or fiction as the accounts unfold.
What’s not so good about it?
I personally would have liked pictorial content to support the narrative, but I realise that the difficult subject matter would not have lent itself easily to it.
Overall
A great book, well written!
Are we alone ? Did I think it was fact or fiction ? Well you’ll have to read it and make up your own minds. All I can say it felt real reading it.
