I have not read the predecessor to this book so was keen to read Meet me in Hawaii. It’s is a really lovely well written story of both love and friendships. I found the main characters, Malie & Todd totally likeable and I honestly did not want the book to end as I couldn’t put it down once I started to read it. I will most definitely be reading Meet me in London but I am also excited for book 3 from the lovely Toffolo. I would recommend this book to my family and friends.
Many thanks to both netgalley and the author for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

The must have, feel good, summer read of 2021!! 🏖🍹🏝🥰
My third read of 2021 and this is definitely going to be one of my favourites of the year!
I was sucked into Malie's story from the first page and connected right away with the lovable characters. I adored the storyline and the way it was written. I just couldn't put this book down!
If you want a feel good, summer romance, pick me up then this is the book for you. It's one of those books where you're desperate to get to the end to see what happens but equally don't want the story to finish. I can't recommend reading this highly enough.

Malie was happy in her life. She was living in Hawaii, teaching people to surf at her godfathers surf school. She had amazing friends in Zoe, V and Lils. A new venture helping kids that weren’t having things too easy was about to start. Things were going great.
She was just finishing her surf before she had to be at a cocktail party, a party hosted by the foundation that was helping the kids she was to teach to surf, when she saw someone struggling in a rip current. With lifeguard training she went to rescue the man who turned out to be pretty hot by all accounts. In a rush to get ready she reluctantly turned and left the hot guy on the beach.
Little did she know that stranger would turn out to be much more than just a fool in a rip current.
After reading meet me in London I immediately had this book on pre order. When I saw it on netgalley I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to read it and give my opinion.
I really loved that it intertwined the characters from meet me in London and adding them into this story too. It was great to get to know Malie more and hear how she’s lived her life since the accident and since leaving Victoria’s story. It was good to hear more about Zoe too and I really hope there will be more books to get to know the whole friend group better.
I enjoyed the story and although it was an easy read that leaves your heart swelling with warmth and emoji hearts floating around your head.
Having read Meet Me In London a couple of months ago, I was delighted to find out, this featured one of the close friends of Victoria, the main character of the first book. Malia is a surf chick in Hawaii, running from heartbreak after losing her brother, which ripped her family apart. Todd is a successful business man, heading up a charity project to help kids, following his own tough childhood. A heart-warming story of learning to love and trust again, I thoroughly enjoyed this, and am hoping for the next two books to feature the remaining two friends Zoe and Lily!
Review
I have been looking forward to this book since reading Meet Me In London and this absolutely did not disappoint. Gone are the snowy scenes of London and Christmas and we say hello to sun, sea and surf.
It is another beautifully written story focusing on Malie and her journey of guilt, loss and grief and also of Todd's past of the same emotions.
I didnt fly through this one as quickly as the first book and that was purely because I didnt want this to end. I had tears in my eyes at the end as Malie conquers her fears and I am already looking forward to the 3rd instalment of this amazing series.
Thank you to Georgia Toffolo and Netgalley for the advanced review copy of Meet Me in Hawaii. I absolutely loved the first book Meet Me In London and I have to say I adored this book just as much! Swapping snow for sun and London for Hawaii, this beach read made me want to get out into the waves and sit watching the sunset with sea salt in my hair. I loved this book and Malie’s strength of character but also her vulnerability. The parallels between herself and Tara were wonderful to uncover and I always love the interactions between the four friends who remind me of my friendship group. Would definitely recommend!
Meet Me in London was one of my festive reads and I absolutely loved it, so I was over the moon when I found out that it was actually the first book in a series!
Meet Me in Hawaii, the second book, is the ultimate feel good feast. It focuses on Malie, a passionate surfer who moved to Hawaii whilst trying to overcome personal tragedy. Trust me, if you loved Meet Me in London, prepare to gobble this one up!
Where Victoria Scott was dreaming of her future life and fulfilling her dream of owning her own boutique, her friend Malie Pukui no longer believes in Happily Ever After and has put her life on hold leaving life in Devon to try and start fresh in Hawaii.. Little does she know how much she is holding herself back.
In comes an affable millionaire and owner of a charitable foundation by the name of Todd Masters! One of the things I loved about this book was it's strong character-driven narrative. Despite ironically meeting in water, Malie and Todd have instant heat, with an intensity established in their relationship right from the very start and carried right the way through the book.
With its backdrop of beautiful beaches, kind hearted people, Hawaii fees like the perfect setting for this tale, and Georgia Toffolo for me really captured some of the vibrancy and warmth of the people and surfer life without making it feel cliched.
This is a romance novel but one that packs a punch because dig beyond the surface and you'll find some other themes interwoven in the plot. I loved the way that the book turned outdated gender stereotypes on their head, emphasised (mini spoiler alert), by the way in which Malie and Todd meet, with her coming to his rescue. In fact neither of them need rescuing but they have to work to confront their demons and meet each other in the middle. And these demons, if you take a closer look at them, bring an element of coping with trauma and looking after your own wellbeing as well, giving the story more depth and to making the characters even more relatable.
Romance with a very current feel, loveable characters and a lot of heart. This is a funny, charming, sexy, feel good read - guaranteed to leave you with a smile, and a desire to book a flight immediately. My only complaint is having to wait a few months now for the next book in the series!
Big thank you to the Mills & Boon team and NetGalley for my ARC in exchange for this honest review.
Having never read a Mills and Book book in my life, I was pleasantly surprised. Very much a girl meets boy and falls in love story, but just what we need at the present time.

This is the second book in the series and loved it.
I love reading this novel such heart warming and a lovely read the cover so beautiful I loved learning about the surfing and waves and the romance between Malie and Todd was amazing they had such amazing chemistry. Malie such a fun loving character who like romance fun. And Todd character us Amazing fun witty loves Malie. A perfect beach read you enjoy. The writing style is beautiful written.
What a fantastic follow up to the first book in this series, I loved that one and loved this one too!
Follow Malie and Todd as they both run from, then deal with the demons of their pasts.
As you get to know all the characters you will fall in love with them and want to know their stories. You will want to cry with them and laugh with them. You may get a little frustrated at the back and forth of their developing relationship but will understand as they deal with grief, love and loss and difficult family relationships.
An easy book to read that you will get lost in and reappear several hours later!
I can’t wait for the next instalment in this series.
Thank you to Netgallery, the publishers and most importantly the author, for the chance to read this book, in exchange for an honest review.
This is such a lovely, dreamy romance story set in such a beautiful part of the world. Malie has a wonderful life, she runs surf lessons in the most romantic setting, after tragedy in her life she wants to give back so that is why she is running these lessons. Then she meets Todd, he has his own issues he has to deal with but can they learn to help each other? the spark between them is unreal, but can they make it work? At times I wanted to bash their heads together and say get on with it but the anticipation made it work. A story about finding love, hope and heartbreak in such a perfect setting in Hawaii, this story has really made me want to go there now. I look forward to Georgia's next book.
A heartwarming book of love and loss and what makes us the people we are. The two central characters Malie and Todd have had experiences when they were younger that have shaped them into the people they are and they both have to overcome these experiences before they can move forward.
Set in Hawaii the breathtaking backdrop for the story is an escapist dream. Add in some good friends, making a difference to some damaged young people this book is a joy to read.
I absolutely loved this book and could not put it down. I loved the first book in this series as was not disappointed by the second. I cannot wait to read the third when it comes out.
After reading and loving Meet Me in London, I was incredibly excited to dive in to this story.
Malie is such a strong, caring character who you feel connected to immediately. She is doing what she loves most in the world, surfing, whilst helping others learn to surf safely and share her love of the ocean. When she is out on the water one night, she encounters a man who is struggling to stay afloat. Malie helps him to shore, and when he is laying down on the sand following his close call, she is stunned by her instant attraction to him.
Todd Is a successful. wealthy man who has a heart of gold. He finds himself in Hawaii with the charity he runs, wanting to help get things set up with the surf school. When he finds himself face to face with the woman who saved him the night before, it takes his breath away.
When they are forced to spend more time together, the sparks fly and they can't deny the attraction between them. However Malie is determined to keep a distance between them as she can't allow herself to get close to anyone.
This is such a gorgeous story that I fell in love with from the start. The characters are wonderful and so beautifully brought to life by the author, each of them being given their own qualities and flaws which makes them much more relatable to the reader. I adored the love story that blossomed between Malie and Todd, and the journey they went through as individuals as the story progressed.
One of my favourite reads to date, and I can't wait for future additions to this beautiful series.
This book is book 2 in this series and in this book we meet Malie who was introduced in the first book, who has started a new life in Hawaii teaching people how to surf.
I really enjoyed the first book in the series, but I liked this equally as much - if not a little bit more.
I liked all the characters and found them likeable, and it was such an easy read that didn't take too much thinking power to take it in, which in turn meant I read it very quickly.
Great book that I would definitely recommend :)
