A great little book all about our feathery friends! Very accessible and very easy to read, with a fab layout and some great information included. Whether you’re a bird enthusiast and all round bird lover, or just want to know more, this book is great.

The book opens with a chapter on all things bird; their background, evolution, breeding behaviours and nesting. It was a great introduction before it lead on to the main section, with a page dedicated to each bird.

Filled with some lovely illustrations, each page describes the bird, sums up its behaviours and breeding as well as where they can be found and in what habitats. It makes a great reference book or a book to read through to learn more about birds you may encounter. There did seem to be a bit of a random hodge podge of bird selection though but it was great to read nonetheless.

I hadn’t heard of a fair few of the birds included here so it was great to read. I loved the layout and how the information was laid out on the page, it made for effortless reading!

A definite recommend for all the bird lovers out there or anyone who wants to know more our avian neighbors.
