Description
Magic is everywhere, and everyone possesses it - except Beth - Beth's father describes her as "a useless freak with no magic".
She finds herself locked up for a crime she didn't commit, but her sentence is quickly indentured to a formidable figure who is on a quest to find more powerful magic.
So Beth's adventures begin, taking her to hidden and mysterious lands behind perilous veils of mist, each with new dangers and predators, and its own unique type of magic.
Only someone who is devoid of magic can enter the mysterious stone formations that hide long-held secrets, and Beth is sought out against her will as the only one who can retrieve them.
To survive, she must learn how to fight, how to unravel secrets, and how to escape - time and time again - from the many dangers she encounters.

This is the Story about Beth, a Girl without magic, who becomes the Guardian of different countrys . She hast to endure a lot till she finally gets to where she is supposed to. She meets a lot of people on her dangerous journey. There is a lot of fighting and bloodshed.
This book is absolutely amazing, and I cannot wait for the in the next book in the series. I was captivated by this book. I was constantly curious to see what happened next and to see if my guesses were right. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy adventures, magic, mystery and imagination. I just couldn’t put it down. The author did an excellent job. You will not regret this buy
I have to say I was disgusted by the sections where Remy was abused. I wanted to stop reading this book, but in all fairness, I was also captivated by their fight for survival. Mistress Valentina was cold to the core, a deadly piece of work. Beth had no choice, flee for her life or die. It was sad to see all her efforts were in vain. She just exchanged prison and from a madwoman to a madman. It’s like the saying goes, she jumped out of the frying pan, straight into the fire. Beth had no choice but to grow up fast and hard to escape the clutches of both madman and woman.
