I really like this book I thought it was an original story about a rich person trying to find their way. I found it entertaining and transfixing at the same time.
This is my first by this author. I found her to sharp and witty and an excellent story teller.
It's a story of power and maintaining that power. It slips back and forth kind of like a reminder, of how your past can and does affect your future.
The family as a whole has an obsession with power. They want more and more.
It is a well written story. I really enjoyed it. It is a strong gritty story of family and power. And yes it hit the spot.
Enjoy!
