My Happy Place: Healthy, sustainable and humane interior design for life and work is a beautifully illustrated reference and idea guide for using products and materials that are healthy and eco friendly. I loved the photographs of the carefully designed rooms, they are full of ideas. However it did feel as though the book was a big advertisement for the specific products, designers and manufacturers. Still. I enjoyed the pictures and the ideas they generated, and if anything the book will definitely get you thinking about everything you use and buy for your home.
My Happy Place is the book for you if you are looking to start or explore more baout sustainable, ethical living in terms of the resources you use in your house from building materials to accessories.
The book explores different sources of these aspects when it comes to building a house which you are satisfied with and makes you happy too.
