My daughter and I absolutely loved this amazing children's book, which shows life in the garden at Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The book is bright and colourful, and easy to read, with really cute graphics which show children, insects, animals and nature. There are different single words on each page, which describe things that are on the page. Each page is a delight, and full of joy and happiness. This is a fantastic book for young children of any age. Even though it is aimed at toddlers, or nursery aged children, my daughter loved it and she is nearly 6 years old. I also loved it, and I am 49 years old. I highly recommend this book to people of any age, as it is just so much fun, and it will bring you so much joy as you look through each page.
Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This picture book is really cute!
It is perfect for toddlers to start being familiar with the garden, its elements, the different seasons, and the many types of animals you can find there.
The pictures are bright, colourful and very stunning!
I also appreciated the diversity. Not only the main character is black, but she is also wearing an hearing aid that I found amazing. Representation is very important and this book did it perfectly.
This is the second book in this series that we read with my daughter. It's a colourful picture book with cute illustrations we both enjoy. Most of the time we read only a part of the book because we start chatting about the pictures and then end up talking about the same page for half an hour.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for an ARC.
