Charlie is worried her ex-PI husband, Simm, is bored with his new role helping her manage their pubs in Montreal. Good book! This book had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, serial killer, and great detective work! It had plenty of twists and turns! The storyline was very interesting and had me glued to my Kindle! I will definitely recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!

Loved, loved, loved!!!! This really isn't like all the other thrillers I've come across. It completely got under my skin and I just flew through it in 2 days and loved every second of it. The characters are well written and don't rely on clichés or your standard thriller protagonist. It's an original story and has some really good twists and turns thrown in to keep you guessing

A.J McCarthy has been one of my most favorite authors who I have loved to watch blossom! I have read every book that gets published as soon as I can! This one didn’t disappoint and I am ALWAYS thrilled to be a part of an early read for her books! You will be taken on a ride! You won’t be able to put down the book as soon as you start the first page!

Love this mystery starring Charlie and Simm. Would love to read the previous books in the series and definitely interested in reading the next one since part of the story needs to be resolved. The mystery was engrossing, showed the partnership well, and I loved that it was set in Canada.
