How to Live the James Bond Lifestyle is so much more than a run-of-the-mill self-help book. I've been a Bond fan for many years but there's so many stories I've never heard before and it's just helped to solidify my love of everything 007.
This book is crammed full of witty anecdotes that are not only entertaining but help to support the advice that's offered. The stories focus on Bond culture but there are also many nods to every avenue of Hollywood cool from the Rat Pack to Arnold Schwarzenegger. The updates make this book sound very current and the original advice has clearly stood the test of time.
My favourite aspect of this book is that each chapter stands up on its own so it's possible to jump around, put it down and pick it up again and read the chapters that grab your interest. I particularly enjoyed the Bond Personality and Bond and his Cash chapters.
It's clear that so much effort has gone into compiling this book and it was a pleasure to read. Highly recommended!
