This was a great read full of relatable case studies and examples. I specifically like Dr. Barr's pragmatic style, and candid way of uncovering those often undisclosed leadership concerns. She brings them to light demonstrating effective strategies for dealing with the key issues leaders face with tips, action items, case studies and checklists. I particularly liked the chapter on how a leader needs to 'stay positive while under fire.' Great advice when so many CEOs unexpectedly find themselves in the board, shareholder and media crosshairs. Lastly, her chapter on the systematic way to build a network of `WHOs' really helps to qualitatively assess those needed to help lead an organization.
