Description
Questioning Spirituality proves the logical path for ending the secular bias of science in matters of faith.
A pragmatic case for the rational viability of a spiritual belief in a higher power. [Taylor] makes a compelling case that the scientific worldview--one that sees humans as “meat machines”--is inconsistent with people’s experiences of themselves and is not nearly as rationally superior as it is so often presented. This alone makes the author’s compact consideration a worthwhile read. A philosophically astute challenge to the rational supremacy of science over its spiritual rivals.

A Note From the Publisher
Eldon is a New York Times best-selling author. The subject of his books range from exposing the darker sides of mind programming and brainwashing to the spiritual search for life’s meaning. His more recent books include Choices and Illusions, I Believe, What If? What Does That Mean?, Mind Programming, Gotcha! and Self-Hypnosis and Subliminal Technology. Eldon is also the author of over 300 personal motivation audio and video programs. His books and audio/video programs have been translated into many languages and are sold worldwide.
Eldon is the host of the popular radio show, Provocative Enlightenment, which airs on 1150AM, KKNW out of Seattle. It is also syndicated on a number of podcasting channels, including Apple, iHeart Radio, Google, TuneIn, and about 50 others. According to Welp Magazine, Provocative Enlightenment made the “10 Best Enlightenment Podcasts of 2021.”
Provocative Enlightenment is an exciting show with a unique presentation offering a novel and hard-hitting approach to those formally soft questions that everyone is interested in, such as "Who am I?” “What does this all mean?” “How do I maximize my life experience?”
Eldon has interviewed a large variety of guests, including American talk show host Leeza Gibbons, actress Lindsay Wagner, Congressman Tim Ryan, renowned psychologist Stanley Krippner, biologist Rupert Sheldrake, and famous medium James Van Praagh. In his attempt to unearth the truth, Eldon is unafraid to ask the difficult questions and refuses to accept the easy answers!
Eldon Taylor is considered to be an expert in the area of preconscious information processing and has served as an expert trial witness with regards to both subliminal communication and hypnosis. As a practicing criminalist for over ten years, he supervised and conducted investigations and testing to detect deception. His earliest work with changing inner beliefs was conducted from this setting, including a double-blind study conducted at the Utah State Prison from 1986 to 1987. Eldon’s approach has always been very down-to-earth, science based and pragmatic.
Eldon has earned doctorates in clinical and pastoral psychology. He is an ordained interdenominational minister, a Fellow in the American Psychotherapy Association, and a Certified Master Chaplain by the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security. Listed in more than a dozen Who’s Who publications, he was awarded the 2005 International Peace Prize by the United Cultural Convention for his “outstanding personal achievements to the good of society as a whole.”
