I would love to be flown to Moongate Manor!. Loved, loved, loved this book and I can't put on finger on why.
In a small English town Amanda finds her roots, both literally and figuratively. A community comes together to restore a garden, new friendships are created and there a small bit of romance in the air. just enough to make life interesting.

I'm so glad I read this in the dead of winter because I was getting the gardening bug and I don't garden! .

This is a sweet story about Amanda, Simon, and Diana who all have experienced lost and grief, who decide to start over and find love and happiness along the way. It basically tells three stories that come together in the end. I just loved the connection between Diana and Amanda. Together they try to fix the garden and ask the help of the village gardening club.

Thank you to the publisher, the author, and NetGalley for this Arc in exchange for my honest review.

This book has three points of view: Amanda, Simon and Diana. Amanda Cox is a New Yorker who wins a beautiful country house in Britain in a raffle. She finds out while cleaning out her house after the death of her mum and being sacked from her job. ‘What have you got to lose?’ asks her friend, so after some convincing she takes the plane to Great Britain.
Simon in the meantime is escaping his own horrors by traveling the country on a motorcycle after he finds out on his wedding day that his fiancée had an affair with his best friend and business partner. So of course he’s very angry and feels stupid for being duped by them both. Diana hired him as a gardener.
Diana is the elderly lady who used to own the house but decided to give up her house.
The book continues to jump from the present (Amanda, Simon) to the past (Diana in her teens), so it basically tells three stories, that all come together in the end. I guessed the reason for the addition Diana’s history pretty early on, and although some might find that it slowed down the story of Amanda and Simon, it adds another level to the book that most will find beautiful.
This is a lovely story about three people who all have lost someone, are hurt, but decide to start over and find love and happiness along the way.
I received and reviewed an advanced copy of this book and I am grateful for this opportunity. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a lovely gentle read based around friends, family, a lovely house and garden. A slow burning romance with a back story full of twists and turns in a delightful setting. Kate Forster at her best.

This is one of those sad but happy love stories. Told between three people. It worked well and the garden descriptions were lovely. The cruelty in 60’s over unmarried mothers is/was amazing. Even though I guessed what the outcome would be I loved it. A great read and ace ending

Moongate Manor manages to be a destination for bruised hearts and tired and hurt souls. Amanda is swept up and embraced by the local community and working in the garden gives her energy and purpose. There is clever story weaving as we feel for and fall for Amanda, Diana and Simon. A gentle, reassuring read.

Sweet story about finding your people, who may or may not be your blood family. Sometimes losing people and "things" can help you find the things and people you need in life. I really enjoyed how the three separate character's stories tied together.

Thank you Netgalley and Arias & Aries for the ARC!

Emotional and heartfelt!

I have read a few Kate Forster's books, probably not as many as I should but hey, I'm slowly working my way through her catalogue. From the first book of hers, I read, I fell in love with her heartfelt and light writing, her books certainly grab hold of you and leave you feeling a whole host of mixed emotions.

This one is no different, from the charming title, and the incredibly pretty cover to the heart-tugging story, this book has it all and I can say this book will appeal to so many readers.

This isn't a rom/com this is what I call a 'proper emotional women fiction', where it's all about relationships and heartbreak, jammed packed full of all the emotions.

I loved the story, the drama the characters. It's got a little bit of a dual timeline element in that with Diana's part, we do slip back twenty years to see her in her teens. Some may think that slows don the story, but I think it enhances the overall story surrounding these people and having Diana's side written in the past answers a lot of the questions which arise through out and yes it also meant that we do guess what is happening, but it all comes together beautifully to create an engaging enjoyable story.

This is all about moving on, each of the characters have gone though heartbreak and this is their story on how they keep going forward.

Overall, a sweet about overcoming hurt, moving forward in life and knowing happiness is out there somewhere if you look hard enough!

Amanda is miserable in NY. Her mother died of cancer, her boyfriend is a cheating jerk and she loses her job. On top of that she is evicted from her apartment. When she gets the news she has won a house in a lottery her mother had signed up for she is excited. Too bad it is in the UK. Taking a chance she heads over to see it, and meets Diana, the previous owner. She also meets Simon who is hired to work the garden over the summer. All three have voices in the story, and all connect towards a HEA. Was it predictable? Yes, but that was fine with me. Enjoyed this one, and would highly recommend it this sweet story. Hard to put down.

Thank you to Aria & Aries and Netgalley for an early review copy in return for an honest review. This is another heartwarming read from Kate Forster, where you can imagine yourself in the garden at Moongate Manor, relaxing in amongst the various plants. I adored the descriptions of the garden, as well as the local village. An enjoyable afternoon read.

What a Magical read this book is, a past secret, a beautiful Manor House and second chances for three people. Yes, there are two time lines but they work beautifully to pull you into the story. This is not just a romantic novel it follows the three main likeable characters who all have back stories and who add to each others lives. I loved this book so much and will be looking for other books by Kate Forster. I like her style of writing and the way she weaves the stories together and would give it more than five stars if I could

Fly me to moongate manor is a wonderfully entrancing tale of three very different lost souls who coincidentally all end up at the magical moongate manor and in doing so become whole again, healed, loved and rejuvenated along with the manor and its wonderful gardens!
Told between the 1960s and the present day we hear Diana’s story a poignant memoir of growing up in an affluent family with many expectations and behaviours to abide by and the long term repercussions of that.
In New York we meet the lovely Amanda who has been sacked from her job after the death of her mother who she nursed to the end, whilst clearing out their home she finds a winning raffle ticket for a house in the UK, with nothing keeping her in New York she flies to London to claim her prize then travels north to claim her house moongate manor having no idea of the history and significance of her win!
Simon a lonely traveller on his trusty motorbike recovering from being jilted at the altar by his fiancée who had been having an affair with his best friend and business partner, meets Diana and is invited to become her Gardner at moongate manor a totally different role for him but nonetheless one that offers a healing therapeutic environment to lick his wounds and recover!
These three very different individuals brought together, in the most unusual of circumstances flourish, laugh, and heal as they become intertwined with each other and form the most wonderful cohesive little family unit.
A really special read that I would thoroughly recommend to all!
Thank you netgalley for this early read!

Sweet story of the kindness of human beings. Grief comes in many forms. Loss of a loved one, loss of trust, loss of faith in humankind....this book has it all. But we see the characters grow and heal through the help of each other as well as through the kindness of others. A story of friendship, old secrets and forgiveness. A perfect story .

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this. Amanda's last few weeks have been a blur since losing her mother. When she finds out that her mother entered a contest and won a house in Britain, she is unsure what to do. She decides to take a leap of faith and go. I could not put thus book down.

I loved this story from start to finish. It has a great characters and a great plot as well.

Can you imagine winning a house in a competition? Well Amanda did and quickly makes friends in the area. They all set out together to fix up Moongate Manor. This is a story of a group going through their own grief who find each other and lean on each other to get through.

There is such a lovely sense of community in this book and i really felt i was a part of the story, love it!

This story still has me thinking about it… weeks later.

It’s a beautiful story about adoption, friendships, gardens and has a dash of romance. Kate’s beautiful way of weaving words has my brain picturing every last detail of the gardens and every character!

Another winner from Kate.

This is a wonderful story of transformation. Amanda at the beginning of the book is living a half-life, going to a job she does not like or want, has recently lost my mother to cancer (and she was her mother's caregiver), and has no other family. She is a wonderfully cheerful sparkly person, and she spreads sunshine wherever she goes. I took an immediate liking to her and wanted her to achieve all her dreams. Without giving away any of the plot, I will just say that her life is guided by coincidences/fate/angels, that guide her on the correct path. Although this is a work of fiction, I do believe this can happen in life. If you keep your eyes open, there is wonder and guidance all over.

Simon, who was recently dumped by his girlfriend, is a lost soul, wandering, trying to heal. He happens upon Moongate Manor, as does Amanda and the rest is a lovely tale.

I adore books with characters of various ages, and especially if there is one or more of the older population. This book undeniably has that feature! There are several older characters full of wisdom, knowledge and love to share.

I enjoyed this book so much. This was the first book I have read by Kate Forster. I enjoyed her writing style, her unique plot and the delightful characters. I definitely recommend this book!

A huge thank you Aria & Aries and NetGalley for giving me the immense pleasure of reading the advance reader copy, with no obligation to write a review. My review is written freely as a hobby, and is totally my own opinion, not influenced by receiving the ARC.

Life is bleak for Amanda, she is dealing with a bereavement and her life isn’t how she hoped it would be. The surprise lottery win ignites something in her and she decides to go and see what life would be like in an English manor house.
Diana the previous owner of the manor house is friendly but reserved. Amanda senses there are things she’s not being told. Then there is Simon, the casual garden helper, who knows nothing about gardening. What is there in his past that he has run away from?
A treat for anyone who enjoyed The Secret Garden There is a definite feel that both the garden and the people are transforming. Easy and enjoyable reading. I loved it!

This was such a lovely read that had the theme of second chances and a bit of romance. Amanda Cox lives in New York and is struggling after her mum dies. She loses her job but then receives notification that she has won a house in England in a lottery. Is it too good to be true? The house in question is Moongate Manor, currently owned by Diana Graybrook-Moore and she has enlisted the help of Simon Herald to bring the garden back to life. There is a real sense of community, each of the main characters has a great backstory and there are a few twists too.! I loved how each chapter was written from a different viewpoint and how there was also the looking back of Diana’s life in the 1960’s. All the characters were easy to imagine and I thought that the ending was great. Thank you to Aria and Aries and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this in exchange for an honest review.

Amanda Cox lived in New York in an apartment she shared with her mother until her mother had passed away. She had moved to New York when she was little as her mother had moved there to escape her life in England. Before her mother died she had brought a raffle ticket for Amanda. Ticket was a winner the prize was a Manor back in England with a plane ticket to receive the prize. With it came a few conditions which Amanda had to fulfil the keep the Manor. There was also Simon who was running away from a broken relationship and a business partner who had ripped him off in more ways that one. He ended up at the Manor employed by Diana Greybrook-More who lived in the gatehouse belonging to the Manor.
This is a story of 3 people who come together through circumstances. It is how they have to overcome their past lives and find out who they are.
It is a story of many feeling and life changing outcomes.
Well worth reading, nicely written.

Another beautiful book from Kate Forster.
Amanda is living in New York mourning the loss of her mother, when she discovers that she has won a house in England. When she arrives at Moorgate Manor, a beautiful country home despite it being rundown and having an overgrown garden, she falls in love with it and becomes good friends with it owner Diana (who now lives in the gate house. Love comes along in the way of Simon the gardener, who also has a difficult past. They all become great friends and love blossoms between Amanda and Simon, but jot without a few twists and tales along the way.

Another beautiful book by Kate Forster. Absolutely lovely, really beautifully written and heartwarming.

Such a cute story, I read it in just one sitting. A sweet romance, with grumpy sunshine and second chance tropes.
The forming relationship between Amanda and Diana - the elderly former owner of Moongate Manor - is so lovely.

Told in different points of view with easy to follow flash backs.
Its a bitter sweet story showing how to deal with loss and the ending is perfect.

The book itself has a few editing mistakes - more than I would expect to find - but didn't take away from the story.

Fly Me To Moongate Manor is the perfect summer read, filled with flowers and querky characters.

This was quite a heartwarming story. It features betrayal, love and happiness.
Simon has been betrayed by both his fiancé and best friend. He ends up working in the gardens of Moongate Manor for Diana.
Diana lives in the Gatehouse near Moongate. Her story is told in two timelines, present day and the 1960's.
Amanda has recently lost her mum and needs to find purpose so after 'winning' Moongate Manor in a raffle she heads to England.
I loved how the characters interacted. Amanda is a go getter and charms people into helping her with the garden.
Diana is a very intriguing character with many layers. I really enjoyed her back story.
The whole setting sounded gorgeous and I would love to live there.
I received this free digital copy from the publishers Zeus/ Aria and Aries in return for an honest review. Thanks to them and Netgalley

Listen, what I wouldn't give to have someone ring me and tell me I won a house in the country.... This was a lovely story, with some sadness and pain, and the chance to heal and grow. That being said, I have had the song For Me To The Moon in my head for days now!

This was my first Kate Forster novel, but it won't be my last. She does a great job bringing the characters to live.

Betrayal, heartbreak , grief, friendships, and family drama, can all be found in this novel.
Three people who have been hurt in the past come together at Moongate Manor. Diana who owns Moongate Manor, hires Simon to work for her for the sumer. Soon Amanda shows up at Moongate. Can they overcome the hurt and move forward? Or is the hurt to hard to deal with? As more secrets are revealed, being at Moongate causes second thoughts just as tragedy happens, but is it too late?

Fly Me To Moongate Manor is the story of three people who are all tied together by the Manor of the title. Amanda wins the property in a competiton, and arrives there to meet former owner Diana and Simon, the new gardener Diana has employed on a whim. What follows is a dual timeline story - all three in the present day and 1960s Diana - examining relationships, and the twists and turns of life.

A pleasant enough story, some lovely extra characters (I was very fond of Janet and Carole), and pretty descriptions. I liked the ending, but did feel it was quite obvious.

What a beautiful story. I loved the idea of the symbolism with the re growth and new life, and also with history finally being put on the right track. Amanda and Simon could so easily be a repeat of past generations, but they are the ones to move forward and put past wrongs right. Amanda doesn’t hold on to the anger and hurt but pushes past it with her heart and Simon does return on his motorbike like he promised - full circle.
I have to say I had my suspicions about the twist toward the end (I don’t want to give away any spoilers) but when you get the full story, it is very moving and a bit heartbreaking also. The flash backs to the 60s were very useful as they gave us a brilliant insight into Diana’s life and just how controlled and how little choice she had, she was stuck even after her parents death.
The supporting characters were great too, I loved Janet and Carole, they were so warm, friendly and caring.
Fantastic from start to finish.

Amanda, Simon, and Diana come together and see their lives change as a result of working in the garden at Moongate Manor, which Amanda won in a raffle. It moves back and forth in time to tell their stories and how they all arrived in this place. Amanda lost her job right after losing her mother so the Manor and the garden as a salve. And the same is true to Simon who was ditched. And for Diana, who can no longer maintain the place. There's a connection (no spoilers) that goes beyond. It's a lovely heartfelt novel that will make you want to put your hands in the soil. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A very good read.

This is a sweet "starting over" book in an idyllic setting. A group of misfits become a strong friend group and a part of the wonderful community. It's touching and funny. There's no real drama here but there is a bit of a mystery about someone's past so it keeps the narrative intriguing.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this book.

A lovely story with elements of forgiveness, friendship, mystery and romance, set in a lyrically described Northumberland manor house and garden. Serendipity draws three lost people together, and against the background of restoring a once beautiful garden, relationships develop, and secrets are revealed. The story highlights differences in social attitudes between the 1960s and the present day. The story is told from three viewpoints, and their connection builds to a climactic conclusion.
I enjoyed the characters getting to know each other, the mystery and the setting of this story.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher.

This is charming but deceptively deep novel following three different characters. If you love a good found family trope, you’ll enjoy this! Amanda is entered into a raffle for a gorgeous English manor and wins, where Diana has grown up, and Simon takes on a job as a gardener after being left at the altar. Amanda and Simon are both needing a change and Diana is there to guide them and offer some wisdom, as we are carried back and forth from her past to their present day together.

Thought I felt it started off slow, it was such an engaging novel and perfect for spring with all of the lovely imagery of the garden!

Amanda can't help but feel that the universe has change in store for her. First, her beloved Mother passes from a brain tumour, then she loses her job and gets an eviction notice. The last thing she expects to find is that her Mother entered a competition to win an English Manor... and won.

Simon faced a shocking betrayal in London and lost everything. Now, riding around the country on his motorcycle, he's stunned at the beauty of Moongate Manor and is surprised to be offered a job restoring the gardens. He knows he can't run forever... but one summer wouldn't hurt.

Diana, the current lady of Moongate Manor, is getting older with no heirs to take on the estate. After deciding on who should win her family home, she flys Amanda to England to assume her responsibilties. But there is more to Diana than meets the eye and she's desperate to keep her secrets hidden.

Together, will they bring back the beauty that was once held by the Manor and its gardens? Or will the secrets between them cause an irrevocable combustion?

I love a dual timeline and appreciated that we got to learn Diana's history as each memory arose. The story was so full, and I could really feel the pain each character had experienced and how healing restoring Moongate Manor's gardens was. There were unexpected twists throughout and I was rooting for Amanda and Simon to find each other (as were the other characters in the book). It's a clean/closed door romance but it really focused on the actions in each of their pasts and how they intertwined and became the Manor's future.

Thank you to Author Kate Forster, Head of Zeus & Netgalley for providing me with this ARC. All opinions are my own.

This book took me on a rollercoaster of emotions. Like the other book by Kate Forster I read, Christmas Eve at Cranberry Cross, Fly Me to Moongate Manor takes its readers to the ups and downs of life and teaches us that you can find family and yourself when you least expect it.

Amanda is all alone in NYC after her mother died. However, she finds out she won a manor in an English town, so she flies across the globe to see it. Here she meets Diana, a lovely old lady who was the previous owner of the manor and was looking for fresh blood to take over as it takes quite an effort to maintain it. Amanda falls in love with the manor and accepts to renovate it. Simon, he's been travelling all over the UK since his business partner and his ex-fiancee betrayed him. By chance he passes in front of Moongate Manor and falls in love with its gardens. He accepts the temporary job from Diana to be the gardener for a few months. Amanda and Simon don't get along, but working together brings them closer and they start healing from their own trauma and find a closure. But finding closure can break them apart when the truth about the manor comes to light.

🌷Family made vs. Family you're born with🌹🌿

A good story about loss and discovery and making the most of the life you've been left with. The plot was good, full of helpful people who enrich Amanda's life after she loses her beloved mother Wendy to cancer. The romance is slow build and sweet and there's a bit of a mystery to solve. Altogether a feel-good story about finding the life you didn't know you were missing.

Occasionally the story takes Diana, the former owner of Moongate Manor, back to her past and the events that drove her to lead a solitary life until she passes the Manor over to Amanda and hires Simon, another lost soul, to bring her Manor's garden back to its full glory. Truthfully, I liked the split story and having two heroines.

This book was another gorgeous book from Kate Forster.

Living in New York, Amanda is slowly coming to terms with the loss of her Mother. When she goes through her post, she finds a letter informing her that she’s the winner of an house in England.

As she reaches Moorgate Manor, which is a country home, in need of some tender loving care, as does the overgrown garden, Amanda loves it.

She makes friends with its owner, Diana, who is now living in the gate house.

Simon is the gardener, who has a past, working with him, Amanda slowly starts to fall in love with him.

But some things don’t add up for Amanda, and secrets are revealed.

I recommend this book.

I thoroughly enjoyed this cosy book, I loved the relationship between Amanda, Diana and Simon, my favourite being Diana. Even though the book deals with serious subjects, there were many moments of joy and laughter. The warmth from these three and all the charming characters we meet from the village really come through. We follow two timelines, Diana who is a young girl in the 1960s living at Moongate Manor trying to live up to her parents expectations and the decision she makes which is felt throughout her life and Amanda, in the present day who is living in New York trying to move forward after her mother died from cancer but is lost and doesn’t know what to do until she wins a competition…a Manor House in the countryside!
Amanda, Diana and Simon work together to bring the once famous gardens of Moongate Manor back to life and I enjoyed the journey they all go on to do this and what they learn about themselves along the way. This is a story about loss, family and friendships.

I received this book via NetGalley and give it my honest opinion,

Fly Me To Moongate Manor is a beautiful read, a competition win and second chances turns this story into a glorious story. The characters are enjoyable to read and the scenery is lovely. An easy beach read or holiday book.

Loved!

I enjoyed this story, told in two alternating timelines, telling Diana’s life story. In England, early 1960’s, young women were expected to act a certain way and only do the right things. In Diana’s case, she rebelled against the restrictions, and the consequences drove the rest of her life choices, including meeting Amanda and Simon.

When Amanda’s Mom died after a terrible bout with brain cancer, she is restless and unable to move forward. When she finds out she won a house in England she takes the chance and heads overseas. She meets Diana, Simon and makes friends with several locals, all while learning about the magnificent gardens at Moongate Manor. As time evolves, she learns a lot more as well, and finds herself along the way.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this book, but my opinions are my own.

Thank you to NetGalley and Aria & Aries for an eARC of this title. All opinions are my own and are honestly given.

I’ve really enjoyed Kate Forster’s previous titles, so I was excited to be invited to review Fly Me to Moongate Manor. As with Forster’s other books, I found this to be a touching story of love, friendship, and found families, as readers follow the interweaving stories of Moongate Manor’s new inheritor, Amanda; its gardener, Simon, who is on the run from a previous life; and its former owner, Diana. This will be the perfect hopeful read for spring for fans of Forster’s previous works or cozy, gentle women’s fiction.

Fly Me To Moongate Manor is a lovely read about second chances, set in a beautifully described house and garden. I found Amanda to be such a likeable character- she seemed to be one of those people who found the joy in the simplest of things despite losing that what was so dear to her. Her bravery in moving to England and starting again was refreshing and lovely to read about and the new relationships she made once here were heartwarming due to her friendly persona. The secondary characters really brought the story alive for me - providing such colour and depth.
The garden of Moongate Manor particularly caught my attention and it would have been so special to see it first hand in full bloom.

I adored Christmas Eve at Cranberry Cross, so I was very excited to read this story by Kate Forster. I was not disappointed.

Amanda is in need of some good in her life. After losing her mom, her job and her apartment in a short period of time, she wants a change. So when she finds out she won a raffle on an English manor, Moongate Manor, she packs up and heads to England.

Simon is also in need of a change. After his wedding is called off, he accepts a job as gardener at Moongate Manor. Diana, the owner, has some secrets from her past that she isn't ready to share.

These three unique individuals come together to help each other. This is a very heartwarming story!

This story is written over a couple of timelines, back in the sixties and modern day. It's a lovely heartwarming story that absolutely pulls you into it from the start. Love, loss, adoption, betrayal, friendships, family, this book covers it all. I definitely recommend reading this one.

Amanda Cox, 26, and her mother, Wendy, had always been close living together in an apartment in New York. One day, her mother fell and tests showed she had a terminal brain tumor. Refusing treatment, she passed away not long after. While ill, Wendy kept entering contests hoping to win something for Amanda.

Now, two months later, Amanda has lost her job and her apartment lease. But she opens mail one day to learn that she has been the winner of a contest Wendy entered and is now the owner of a home called Moongate Manor in the village of Foxfield near Newcastle upon Tyne in England. Worried that it’s not legit, her friend pushes her to go to England and check out her prize.

Simon Herald made a vast wealth with the stock market software he invented along with his partner, Charlie. Engaged to Anika, they were planning an elaborate wedding. But, she left him standing at the altar when she ran off with his partner who stole all of his money as well. Shocked and saddened, he has been wandering around from different places on his motorbike making money doing odd jobs. When he drives into Foxfield, he is taken with a beautiful home. He talks to the owner, Diana Graybrook-Moore, the elderly spinster owner of Moongate Manor. She has moved into the Gatehouse and offers him the job of gardener for the summer and he can stay in the gardener’s house on the estate. Diana can no longer care for the home and has offered it as a prize.

When Amanda arrives, she falls in love with the Manor and she and Simon immediately set in to do everything they can to return the gardens to their former glory.

What a totally beautiful and heartwarming novel. I loved the characters and their interaction with one another. There’s close friendships and beautiful descriptions of the Manor and the gardens. Don’t miss this one. The story will stay with you for a long time to come.

For Amanda, life has changed completely, now alone in New York since her mother died, now with no job, dumped by her boyfriend and her flat about to be repossessed, it seems that life cannot get any lower.

That is until she finds out her mother won a competition that she had entered not long before she died. The prize - a Manor House in the British countryside.

Amanda does not have anything to lose, and at least she will have a roof over her head and some purpose for a while. then she can start to heal and decide what she wants to do.

Simon had it all, successful job, money, large flat, car, best friends and fiancé. Then suddenly on his wedding day he has none of these things. He takes to the road, not keeping in touch with anyone and needs to find who he really is now. He ends up at this Manor House to help as a gardener, far from anything he has even known.

Diana, forthright and determined is the owner of the Manor House or Moongate Manor as it is called. She is the instigator of the competition that picks Amanda as the winner and the woman who takes pity on Simon and offers him a summer job. However it appears that Diana has a story of her own and takes us back to a time before when she was much younger.

Will these three people, from different backgrounds, walks of life and ages find a common path for them to be able to see a future for themselves and Moongate Manor.

What was lovely about this book was the healing qualities it had by simply reading it as well as learning with Amanda and Simon as they get to grips with the garden, the house and the local community. A book which crosses the generations and shows how life can take unexpected turns dependent on others actions. I will admit that I had worked out some of the connections within the book, but I did not feel that detracted in any way from the overall story and the feel of the book. For me it left it open for future returns to Moongate Manor.

A heart-warming dual time line read, for fans of big houses and gardens.

Fly Me to Moongate Manor is the 2nd book I have read my Kate Forster and I really enjoyed it! I love how Kate Forster writes books with a lot of love and insightful lessons! <3

Amanda was such a great character. Seeing her grow throughout the book filled my heart with so much warmth and admiration. I loved how she finally let go of the past and chose her own happiness moving forward! Simon was a lovable character as well. I especially enjoyed Diana's chapters in the book, as I wasn't expecting a 3rd POV (I read the blurb of the book ages ago, so I didn't remember it while reading the book. I like to go into books blindly, hehe) The romance was cozy, refreshing and unique. The setting of Moongate Manor definitely added to the charm of the story!

I was not expecting the twist in the end, though. It was heartbreaking - but I liked how the story wrapped up in the end! I highly recommend Fly Me to Moongate Manor to my fellow cozy romance lovers! <3
