Description
Hunky green aliens aren’t what I signed up for…entirely.
After my fiancé left, I impulsively joined my sister on a spaceship for an Earth-sponsored trip to Xavia, a friendly, tropical planet with handsome, alien men.
Getting paid to vacation—was too good to be true. I woke up from stasis to find we’ve been dropped off to serve as wombs for the dying Xavian race. The Xavians are just as surprised as we are and treat us with respect, despite their population crisis. Another alien race has decimated their kind, and almost all their women.
Until Earth returns for their payment, I’m hosted by the Xavian Prince, Drex. As promised, he’s devastatingly hunky, but I’m not jumping into a relationship as quickly as I jumped onto that ship. I’ve learned my lesson, no matter how the sparks start to fly.
Bursting with sexy aliens, steamy fantasy, and smart charm, Rotha Mates of Xavia is a galaxy of dreamy romance and fated happy endings. Dive in.

This was a very well written story. I loved the characters and how they interacted with each other. It had some funny parts and serious ones. I enjoyed it!
This book was so cute and it was written well I liked the beginning about her you know she was mad at the beginning about her getting married at the alter the guy not even showing up and then her friend had a good idea to go to this space world to see how hunky alien men, It reminded me alot of ice planet barbarians because im a big fan of those books and this book just had it all I loved the chemistry between the characters and there was funnyness to it.
Thanks Netgalley!!
I LOVED this! I recently devoured the Ice Planet Barbarians books, my first ever alien smut.. and I needed more. This didn't disappoint at all, it was exactly what I wanted!
Fans of IPB will find similar things as far as women going to a new planet to mate and breed, fated couples, and another alien threat. Instead of an ice planet, this one is beautiful with flowers and jungles, also filled with technology and indoor plumbing!
My Alien Prince also has an overhanging sense of threat from foreign aliens trying to take their women. I really liked having these sense of danger hanging over everyone.
The sex scenes... Loved them. **Fans self**
I definitely suggest another edit through before publication date. As another reviewer pointed out, there was a chapter from Drex's POV talking to Drex when it should have been to Vance. A few other times there was a wrong word, duplicate word, etc. But those edits didn't distract me from the story.
I can tell this is going to be another obsession read.. and I already need MORE.
I really enjoyed this book! I am a sucker for alien smut. A lot of alien smut books are barbarian. This one had a lot of cool technology in the world. I really enjoyed the concept of the women going into stasis and then learning they were kind of tricked by their government. The orkain are scary and I cannot wait to see how that plays out in the story line. I’m also a very big fan of fated mates. The only complaint I have is there were quite a few grammar mistakes or sentences that had words missing. So maybe another round of edits. Not a big deal. I will definitely be continuing the story!
*thank you to NetGalley for an arc.
OMG! OMG! Hot 🔥 🥵 make sure you have a cold drink with you because once you start you can't stop. I found this book marvelous, the story was exhilarating while the characters were sublime.
Earth women duped into going to the planet Xavia. Thinking they were there for a working holiday. But in fact are there to breed with the Xavians a dying race. Well written, steamy, and a HEA.
I recently read Ice Planet Barbarian and enjoyed it - this was similar! I didn’t know alien romance was a thing until recently!! I loved this and devoured it in one sitting. The setting was beautiful and the world-building was well-developed. The storyline was utterly captivating and the characters are fleshed out. I really enjoyed reading this and would recommend it to fans of Ice Planet Barbarian!

I honestly can’t wait to see the next adventure, “My Alien Protector”
✨✨✨Give me some alienssssss✨✨✨
Warning!!! This is not a book you want to miss!!! Katy along with a group of women were offered to take a year paid trip to an alien planet to promote interstellar tourism. However, this particular trip did not go according to plan!
The Xavians have a crisis of their own. Their entire race is dying as a result of an invasion that primarily targeted the female population of their people. Prince Drex wants to save his people, so he participated in what he was told was a trade program, but with the women as knowing potential partners to the available - and very fit - bachelors of the Xavian race. Now left with no way home or to contact earth, Katy and the women with her must make the best of the situation.
To summarize, after essentially being traded by earth as unknowing wombs-for-rent in exchange for essential goods not available on earth, Katy must spend a year with the Prince Of Xavia as a guest in his home.
I loved the story of Katy and Drex so much! Katy has interstellar baggage and trust issues; and Drex has dreams of finding his soul mate. The author, Reverie Harwood, did such a phenomenal job of of blending a great plot with amazing spice and wholesome characters.
For the critical stuff: I found only six typos in the whole book - It's a superpower I sometimes wish I didn't have, but they stand out to me like a bullseye. Aside from that, I have nothing to criticize! This book was amazing!
If you are looking for a great spicy romance with wholesome men of your dreams that treat their women like queens, this book is definitely for you! I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and will be on the lookout for more books by Reverie!

Thank you NetGalley for providing this e-ARC. All options are my own.
My Alien Prince hit the spot. It was exactly what I have been in the mood to read. If you enjoy Ice Planet Barbarians by Ruby Dixon, The Krinar Chronicles by Anna Zaires you should read this book.
The main character Katy is great. She has flaws and she knows it. Which is wonderful for character development. Throughout the book she over comes her baggage. The reality of living on a foreign planet Xavia.
I loved the relationship between Katy and her sister Sara. Would’ve liked more info on their parents and upbringing.
Drex, “Well, we were going to treat them better than their own government. That was for sure.”
The prince aka Drex is definitely an introvert. Easy to love character. He doesn’t go through any big character development. He is a well written character. A good bromance between Drex and Vance.
Plot is good but the writing is messy. It didn’t distract me too much but it was noticeable. The world building was done well. I enjoyed the little details that made the planet Xavia easy to visualize.
If you want a fun alien romance I would recommend this book.
Now, I’m an alien romance lover until I die. I love em, so I’m not at all surprised that I enjoyed this one. It was short but it explained things well enough that I wasn't left confused. Great world building AND great character development! The chemistry between the main characters flowed well along with the story!
Thank you NetGalley for providing this e-ARC, all opinions are my own.
This book was great! It was well written and I liked the main characters. The alien prince was real cute and the spice was on point. I feel like it is different from a lot of other alien romance books (at least many that I´ve read), in that the views of women and relationships were more progressive, which I really enjoyed. Another positive thing for me was that the premise of this story wasn't kidnapping humans, which it tends to be in many other books.
I would recommend this for everyone that is looking for a sweet, comfy alien romance with a little spice!
I enjoyed the shit out of this novel. I had so much fun on the journey. Reverie is going on my list of authors to look out for. What I liked most about My Alien Prince was that the plot gave sci-fi. Take all the sex out of the equation, and the plot could stand independently. The characters were well-written. The world-building was through. Everything added up and made sense. The spicy sex scenes were a bonus I personally enjoyed. All I'm going to say is three is a magical number.
Katy's background story was written so emotionally my heart physically hurt for her. Not just once or twice but throughout the whole novel. She's the resident sad girl, and I love her. Her reluctance and stubbornness were almost her undoing. I was glad she got it together and fought for her happiness.
Drex is such a softy. I felt for him as well. He had his whole world on his shoulders and still was trying to get his schlong wet. Respectfully, of course. We Stan a consent king (literally, he's a king). Sometimes I wanted to smack him on the back of his head for being stubborn. His behavior in those last few chapters had me clasping my imaginary pearls.
While reading I felt like that one friend who's understands both sides, stuck in the middle and can't do shit but watch it play out.
In conclusion, if you love the Ice Planet Barbarians series you'll love this. Reverie has put a fresh take on aliens and their home planets. Gone are the empty prehistoric worlds and welcome a planet that's akin to a tropical resort equipped with modern technology. That's exactly the tale the government put on the brochures they were passing around. Guess how many women fell for it?
If you were left at the alter would you chose to risk it all and travel the Universe (with your sister). The chance to see handsome aliens and be part of an all new environment, paid for by the government. Well that is exactly Katy decided to do. Crazy part is not all was disclosed to them when they signed up. They made it to the planet (check) but didn't know they were brought there under entirely different circumstances! The government had not told them they were a group of woman chosen to see if the could successfully breed with the native (aliens) to increase the population. And guess what this was news to the aliens too!
They have a year to meet and see if they match with anyone. Katy gets matched with Drex the Xianan prince. Overall the aliens welcomed them, learned the language, presented them with safe environments. It was an interesting ride for both alien's and human women as they get to know each other. Katy quickly learned there are benefits of being more than friends with these aliens!!! Happy reading....
Well, where do I sign up for a Xavian vacation?
Katy's life becomes a mess when her fiancé leaves her before the wedding and she finds herself in debt. Being a wedding photographer makes it difficult for her to work through this mess. She joins her sister on a trip to Xavia, where they discover they must serve as wombs for the Xavian race. Despite the population crisis, the Xavians treat them with respect.
The story of Katy and Drex is amazing. Katy brings emotional baggage from her past and has trouble trusting others, but Drex is sweet and understanding of her situation, and he is ready to let her go even though she is his mate. The author does an outstanding job of blending a great plot, spicy elements, and well-developed characters.
If you enjoyed 'Ice Planet Barbarians,' you should read this book.
A huge thanks to NetGalley & Reverie Harwood for providing this digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I received a copy of eARC for my honest opinion.
Would you travel to an alien plant to relax and unwind because wow it looks like a tropical resort, oh and even better you will be getting paid to go on this vacation as well. On top of getting paid, you get to stay there for about 1 year. Heck However, once you get there you find out that the government has made an agreement with the aliens, women to help populate their plant in exchange for precious metals and you had no clue about it. What would you do? Go along with it, fight and make your life “living hell” for the remaining time there?
I really enjoyed this book, and I can’t wait to read more from this author. I thought the plot was well done, the characters were well-written, and the world building was done amazingly. The smut in this book was well done, and wow all I have to say magic does happen in threes. If you want to find out more you will have to read this book, I won’t spoil anything for you.
With the characters, I found that Katy’s story was really sad, and I was able to connect with her. There were times that I thought she was being a little repetitive. She does have a lot of character development though and I am happy to see how she turned a scary moment into something amazing for herself.
Drex is such a sweetheart through and through. I loved how he handled the women after he found out that our government lied to them, helped them to understand they would not be forced into anything at all. Even knowing that this program wouldn’t work for his people without having a chance for future generations. For being a prince, he had a lot on his shoulders but never once took it out on anyone.
I thought the world that was built, even its scary creatures, was so beautiful. Even knowing the dangers on that Xavia I would love to go see that place, but only this beautiful place the author made. I mean who wouldn’t want to see some hot/sexy men and the things those men can do.. DANG! If you love or like spice in your books, then this fantasy/sci-fi is a book you should read. I would rate the spice 3.5-4
I recommend this book to anyone who likes spice, fantasy/sci-fi, fated mates (called rotha bond), romance, sexy alien men and some action.
I want to thank NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the opportunity to review this book.
I did like this book, a little fast pace, but I appreciated the dialog between the main characters and the spicey scenes >:)
Katy and her sister Sara get on a space ship for what they think will be a nice vacation. Katy will get paid for taking photographs of the alien planet and her debt from the wedding that didn't happen will be paid for. They are put into statis for the journey but once they arrive they find out that their government lied to them and they are there to help repopulate the alien species in exchange for some metals that are on the planet.
The aliens are shocked that the human government would lie to the women but make sure that they know that they will be treated well and are under no obligation to mate with anyone. The aliens are very good hosts. But another alien race, are a species everyone has to hide from because they can fly and will kidnap anyone outside. Though it's not really said what happens to them once they are taken, I was under the impression that they are killed and eaten.
Drex is the alien prince and Katy is being hosted by him in his home. She is adamant that as soon as the ship comes back, she is leaving but the longer she and Drex are around each other, the more she starts to feel something for him. Drex already has feelings for her but is the perfect gentleman until she makes a move and lets him know that she wants more.
The sex scenes were spicy! Oh my goodness, the author made these alien men, very alien and I liked it. But there is a bit of a miscommunication or not enough communication between them and they almost don't get their happy ending. Katy's sister finds herself mated to Vance, her alien host and they are very happy together so she doesn't want her sister to leave when the ship comes back for their payment of the alien metal.
I really liked this story, I love the alien men and how gracious and nice they were. I would definitely recommend this if you like alien worlds and alien romance.
Disclosure: I was give this book for free via NetGalley but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
I fell in love with this genre when reading Ice Planet Barbarians from Ruby Dixon. This book was funny, entertaining and sexy.
My Alien Prince by Reverie Harwood is my first sci-fi romance of the year and I really enjoyed reading it.
Drax was my favorite character, even though I loved the main female character, Katy, too. I loved the slow buildup of their romance and felt it was genuine to the story as a whole. The worldbuilding was done really well to and it was a story that I will want a paperback copy for my bookshelf at home.
There is literally nothing as spicy and smutty as Alien romances. Call it a guilty pleasure of mine but this book was ***chef's kiss*** Loved every second of it.
This was everything.
I never cried for an alien in alien smut books. Like never. Thank you for the emotional journey ❤️
As a lover of big blue/green/yellow aliens, I am now a big fan of Xavians 💙
Cant wait to read more. The story was fascinating. I can already feel a big war coming up!
Also, there are 3 peens yall. Hehe 🫀
(Ps. Some parts need a proofreader because the names are mixed up as a nonnative speaker I didn't mind those.) but its a debut novel so I know it will all be better ✨
I’m obsessed with all sorts of alien romances so i as I expected i loved this as well! It’s fun and easy to read in few hours, it’s overall and enjoyable read.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book! I really enjoyed the story and the couple was so cute! An easy, quick read! Can’t wait for the next one!
Such a cute read. I really enjoyed the MMC, he was such a protective sweetheart.
The book was well written, fast paced, good spicy scenes, funny moments, HEA.
I’ll give this book a 4,5 star (not the biggest fan of “miscommunication” and “third act breakup”). Overall an amazing read. I will recommend.
Thankyou to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this ARC.
I haven't read anything from this author before but will be reading more.

I received this book from Mary Kirkland and Amazon Publishing, UK Booksgosocial, as an advanced eArc for my honest review any opinions that come from this review are my own. Thank you to both the Author and the publisher and Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.
The book itself was okay can I imagine myself traveling to an alien planet to relax and unwind hell yes and I would be getting paid to sign me up. I enjoyed the book for what it was. The plot was well written and so were the characters. The author did a great job with building the world as well. Baby and the smut lawwwdd it was done very well. I was able to connect with each character especially Drex he was such a sweetheart and the way he treated the ladies omgeee. Overall, it was a lovely book the spice is rated a 3.5 for me the biggest issue with this book is the writing i.e. the inner dialogue felt like the characters were rambling on and on to be honest, I didn’t care about typos because it was and arc.
