"Without question, the right book at the right time for so many who will look upon this as a mirror, reflecting many situations and circumstances resembling those we've encountered. Stories told with candor and an extraordinary level of honesty, along with advice which becomes the magic elixir we can all draw from as we continue to navigate that unpredictable journey called life.

A true polymath, Carrabis blends the astute wisdom of Covey, the practical guidance of Ferriss, and the sagacity of Dear Abby into an eclectic potpourri of advice and opinion. This assortment of insights is a veritable box of chocolates, each one sure to please. Drawing from multiple disciplines--principally psychology, sociology, anthropology, and business--the author shares his unique perspectives. Throughout the chapters covering a wide variety of topics, readers are encouraged to think and behave in new and improved ways.

I sipped at Joseph Carrabis' That Think You Do. Change, choice, connection, and conversation (inner and outer) make for a hearty brew. Hooked by the exacting sensory images; neuroscience and wit added spice. I stopped often to digest the richness of resonant principles he weaves throughout.
This is a book I’ll put on my library shelf and return to again and again.
- Susan Sneath, co-host of the internet tv talk show ""The Change Zone""
Joseph’s vast experiential wisdom and quick wit comes through in this display of poignant and often profound observations of how we can better do what we do, all based on a keen insight and understanding of his own process and success. Few can express and imbue our lives with such eloquent and often humorous deep dives into being a leader of your own business, life and relationships, let alone all the dynamics that entails. His short snippets of a reality which few of us experience in such depth is invigorating to read and ponder. His material demonstrates emotional, intellectual and even spiritual understanding we often don’t consider, let alone embrace and engage in our lives and work. The chapter pieces are quick reads. I highly recommend it for engaging those moments between That Th!nk You Do, too. Enjoy!

Joseph’s masterpiece connects science, data, and research with the practicality (and yes complexity) with our everyday lives and how we can begin to better understand what makes us tick (as opposed to being a ticking time bomb!) And all of this is delivered with a strategically delivered sense of humour!
I feel joyfully challenged by Joseph’s masterful subtleness to look deeper with clarity at my own habits and am grateful he has provided tools to support the process.
- Gail McDonald, Executive Coach, TV talk show host - The Change Zone
In this book there are sparks of ideas and thoughts which can be a catalyst for creating positive change in your life. The principles he lives by are seeds to plant for yourself and carry into both your personal and professional life.

I received a copy of this from the publisher via Netgalley for this book.
I enjoyed this when I read it, it's very much like blog-post therapy in easy to read snippets which I found useful. I requested this book because I was looking for something to give me advice without being too hard to follow that I could immediately start to apply in my life.
So much of it feels like common sense once it's explained but if you've ever had CBT therapy then you'll see the parallels here - it's so easy to forget the basics during a time of struggle. I would recommend this book to help in such times as you can dip in and out/re-read the parts you need help with.
