The story takes place late in the Middle Ages and has Isa being called or summoned to the castle by the Queen of Spain. A time when the Catholic church and others were looking at getting a foothold and keeping or knocking off the others. Isa is seen by the Queen as someone who can give her guidance. Yet some people also want the ear of the Queen and or power so they are out to destroy Isa calling her a witch among other things. An interesting story of greed for power and political power that will make people say or do anything.
