I consider myself a cook book snob. If it is not put together well I will not even glance through it. A good cook book must have a good layout that is easy to follow and pictures of the food. This book has both! This cook book for anyone who is starting out learning how to cook as Kevin explains basic kitchen tools and cooking basics.

Was so thrilled to receive an arc of this from netgalley since I've been following his Instagram for a long time. This cookbook did not disappoint, it has a variety of dishes, both in health and nationality, and is a great addition to anyone who loves to cook or is just starting out.

I've been trying really hard to get into healthier week night meals and this feels like a total knock out in terms of recipes. It's well organized, has a ton of good options for meals, and everything looks DELICIOUS. And it's using food I actually recognize, rather than weird, out of touch recipes that feel totally alien. Yum!

Perfect guide for cooking on a budget. Full of easy to follow recipes that not only taste good, but don’t break the bank. Highly recommend this cookbook.

This cookbook hits that sweet spot with recipes that not only are affordable, tempting, and healthy as all plainly promised in its title, but also come in a great variety that fit any time of day, and all seem quite easy to manage in most any basic kitchen. This feels like a fantastic resource for any brand new cook, college students and fresh grads especially. However, it’s so well rounded that I think those who have a little more experience under their belt would also be glad to have it in their personal cookbook library - or at least that’s the case with me!

This book is great for anyone who is a beginner in the kitchen, or anyone |like me) who just really loves recipe books!

The recipes are not intimidating, don't feature hard to source ingredients and are healthy in a really balanced and accessible way.

Make no mistake, this is a quality production, with some droolworthy photography! Measurements are given in both cups and grams (thank you!!) making it super easy, no matter what side of the pond you are on.

Recipes all look great, with breakfasts, snacks, mains and sweet stuff all extensively covered. Personally I am going to start with the PB&J frozen yoghurt bark - yum!

So good to see a recipe book that accommodates the current cost of living crisis. This is a book that ticks a lot of boxes, showing that we can enjoy great, and fairly healthy food on a budget.

This cookbook is perfect for it's target audience. Students who have no experience will benefit from the basics chapter.
The instructions are clear and easy to follow.

I love the breakdown of equipment, staple ingredients, and basic techniques at the start of the book! They provide the reader with a great foundation to tackle the recipes with confidence. I also enjoyed the large variety of simple & new takes on various meals. There’s a lot to learn from this fun cookbook!

This book was filled with delicious-looking recipes, and I liked the structure a lot. My favorite parts of this book were the basic recipes + terminology/techniques section that explained common cooking terminology and also showed some cooking techniques. The on-the-go recipes section was also really helpful and I think anyone who eats on-the-go will find some helpful recipes in this book.

Love that this book takes the time to walk beginner cooks through some basic cooking procedures! All of the recipes look so delicious, and there are a great variety of them!

As a college student, the recipes in this book are perfect for me! I loved the variety of flavors and cultural inspirations that were put into these recipes, and the photos are beautiful. This is definitely a cookbook that I could see myself using often, and I'll be on the lookout for a physical copy!

I really enjoyed reading this one! Lot’s of recipes that I would actually make! The photos are very nice , the recipes seem easy to make and they all look very good! There are recipes for breakfast, on the go, instant classics, dinner time, pasta and bowl, party essentials, sweet and treats. I really liked this cookbook recipes were simple, fast and very budget friendly. This is one that definitely needs to be on everyone’s list for the new homemaker / going off o college.

Although this book is targeted to students and young adults, it works for anyone who feels like they are relying on too much fast food, take out, and convenience foods at the expense of their health, and their wallet, but is not really confident about their abilities in the kitchen and with food shopping and meal planning. This is a terrific cookbook -- the author explains everything and gives lots of tips to boost confidence. Best of all, the recipes are focused on simple, whole foods and they look absolutely delicious. Easy, too.

This cookbook delivers exactly what it promises…healthy affordable recipes. The layout is fantastic, the pictures wonderful. We tried the black bean burger and it was delicious. We had almost everything on hand, so that made our experience even better.
This is a great cookbook for beginners on up! I love that I can literally make most of these recipes with the staple I have on hand. I’ll definitely be getting a physical copy when it releases,

Can I give this cookbook 10 stars?! It has delicious recipes, a great layout, easy steps to follow, and most importantly, beautiful pictures to accompany every recipe. I am a huge fan of cookbooks with pictures and this one is very nicely laid out . I am looking forward to adding this to my collection. Highly recommend since I really want to make every single meal in the book.
