We are taught to be tough, to not show vulnerability or weakness, and to brush off the abuse as just a part of life. But for those who seek help, there are few mental health resources available. In this book, the author shares his personal journey of finding self-worth and overcoming the trauma of his childhood. He hopes that by sharing his story, other black men will see themselves and find hope in their own journey of healing.
