Description
The experience of profound grief following the death of his wife and soulmate connects a worldly scientist to deeper aspects of his inner psyche.
Unexpectedly, a universe of metaphysical encounters opens up to him in a way that challenges his assumptions about what is possible within human experience. Sacred Gifts is a visceral narrative of how it feels to get close to the source of all things, to see glimpses into hidden realms, and what’s possible when you listen and follow your intuitive mind.
Above all, it’s a life-changing journey of discovering the inner self. If you are seeking validation that we are more than our physical attributes, that we are innately connected to something omnipotent, or if you want to deepen your intuitive abilities, then this is a book for you.

I enjoyed this book a lot since the past few years have hit me hard with the lost of both parents and my mother-in-law. I will recommend this to my patrons.
Grief is a hard thing to deal with and I appreciate how the author shares his experience after his own loss. While sharing his own experience, he opens up and also shares how he opened up to connect to something greater and leveraged this to expand his abilities…and how you can too.
David Hardy has written an extraordinary book. I read with an open mind and although sometimes I wasn’t convinced about what he was saying, by the end of the book I wanted to research further the ideas he proposed. Mr Hardy lost his wife, his soulmate, and was lost in his grief. Looking for answers and for solace, he decides to explore spirituality and metaphysical experiences. The book is a description of what he found.
It is an easy read and the research and science aren’t pushed too hard but are there if you want to follow up. Some of his experiences are genuinely moving and left me hoping he would find some sort of understanding. The book is well written and the depth was just right for me.
Recommended if you are looking for some sort of purpose and are prepared to have your safe world rocked a little bit.
