This book is so fun! We homeschool and I can’t wait to use it during our creative writing time. It’s encouraging, fun, and easy to dive into writing poetry.
I highly recommend this book to poets of all ages!
My class love Joseph Coelho poems so I knew this was a book I had to read. It's a book to dip in and out of if you are lacking inspiration for a poem or want to write a particular type of poem but are unsure where to begin. I love the first prompt which encourages you to create your very own notebook to record your ideas and thoughts. We are hoping to start a writing club this year and this book will certainly be a feature. I can't wait to share it with them.
Thank you NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for this eCopy to review
What a beautiful book we loved the illustrations which really brought Joseph's poems and information to life. All the prompts were easy to understand and explained different types of poems or techniques in a way which is easy to understand and have a go at yourself
It was great fun to read and we are enjoying having a go ourselves, definitely something that can be used time and time again
