Description

Shortly after delivering the Gettysburg Address in November 1863, Abraham Lincoln grew feverish and weak. He complained of headaches and back pain. The disease he had contracted forced him into confinement, significantly affecting his routine at the White House and curtailing his meetings with his advisors, due to the highly infectious nature of his malady.

Presented by The Widsith Institute, the enclosed short story was written by Steven Douglas. Please visit www.blackcrownproject.com for more information.
