This was a cute book. My daughter laughed and kept saying where the penguin was. She even kept asking how he didn't know where it was. Overall great book that kept my dauggters attention the entire time.
I was reading the book and my daughter was wearing a huge grin all along. She loved the illustrations, the colours and she found it hilarious that the bunny was stuck to the penguin's bottom. This deserves five stars.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Quarto Publishing Group for an Advance Review Copy.
This is just too cute to handle!
We know how much our childhood toys meant to us when we were kids. We adults seem to forget this now and then how much stuff toys mean to the kids, specially the one they get really attached to.
This is one such story in which a little penguin searches for its missing stuff toy the entire day. Well, you have to read this book to know where it was the entire time. Yes, it reminds me of the entire human on the planet.
I love the illustrations. They are so well done.
Thank you, Frances Lincoln Children’s Books, for the advance reading copy.
My young son loved this book! He thought it was hilarious that mikki Olsen was stuck to his bottom. He couldn’t have laughed harder. This was a sweet book with adorable illustrations.
This book was PRECIOUS! A penguin & their best stuffed friend do all the fun things, until the stuffed friend goes missing! It's so silly when you see where the stuffed friend is. Kids will be giggling about this one!
Well that was absolutely adorable!! Great artwork and such a sweet story! I really enjoyed it for my daughter
This is the cutest book!! This would be a wonderful bedtime story for any child. I would highly recommend this book for an at home library or one to give as a gift to someone having a child.
My daughter loved this sweet story about a penguin looking for his favorite lovey.
It resonated with her while also being fairly easy for her to read on her own.
I saw this book I knew I needed to request it for my daughter and I to read for her bedtime story. Have You Seen Mikki Olsen? Was cute and hilarious. Little penguin loses his stuffie Mikki Olsen and goes on a quest to find him and all along he is stuck to his butt!! My daughter thought that this was absolutely hilarious and laughed the whole time. Each page picking out that Mikki Olsen was indeed stuck to the penguins butt. Hahah. I would absolutely recommend this book to those people with kids. For reference my daughter is almost 6.
I received this book free for review from Netgalley.

This is just the cutest little story ever!!
Penguin loves his teddy, Mikki Olsen, and he takes him everywhere, until one day, he can't find him anywhere.....Can penguin find Mikki?
I adore the simplicity of this story and think it would become a firm favourite for bedtime story time.
I love that the lost teddy can be seen on each page, so your little one can interact with the story while you're reading.
The illustrations were super cute - I love penguins anyway, but this one was totally adorable.
💕Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for my ARC copy - this is my honest review 💕
This book was very sweet and a lot of fun. The animation style is gorgeous and immediately captivating. Perfect read for little ones who will definitely love this!
I absolutely adore penguins so I of course had to get this book. It's as adorable as it looks! For some reason I was expecting Mikki Olsen to be the penguin, but no, Mikki Olsen is the penguin's teddy bear who goes everywhere with him. But one day he can't find Mikki and goes on a search for him. The story is so cute, a lovely tale of trying to find something you've lost when it could be right under your nose. The illustrations were gorgeous; not too fussy but engaging and beautiful. Some of them looked painted, particularly the sea looked like it had been done in acrylic paints which I loved. The little ones will enjoy spotting Mikki Olsen while the penguin can't find him so it'll be a funny little story for them too. I could totally see this being a favourite bedtime story with little ones wanting it read to them every night.
This book is so cute! I love penguins, and I especially love children's books with adorable illustrations.
I'm going to rate this book a 5 star, because I think many children will enjoy this story, especially given that the missing stuffed friend was essentially stuck in the penguins backside.
My 6 year old found this book hilarious and kept trying to tell the penguin where his Teddy was. Kept him entertained.
Stunning and so sweet. A perfect gift
We read it at bed time twice because we loved it so much.
Funny character yet so relatable
This is a really cute picture book that I can't wait to buy for my library. I love penguins, but the fact that the penguin had a stuffed animal that went everywhere with them just like I did as a kid, put it at the top of my favorite penguin books.
Mikki Olsen is Penguin's favorite toy who gets lost after one very busy day. He is upset and looks EVERYWHERE until he finds him by happenstance. A very happy ending to a meticulous search!
The illustrations by the author are fun, simple, colorful, and delightful.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school or your local public library!
