A Note From the Publisher

Growing up on the Great Lakes, he was an expert sailor, held a U. S. Coast Guard Power/Sail Ocean Master license, and owned a sailboat, Pendancing. In 1970, Pete Clements moved to Vero Beach, Florida and founded a marine business while he continued to write newspaper columns and magazine articles. By the mid-1990s, he was a full-time novelist. His debut novel, The Latitude, was Honoree Finalist in the 2020 Eric Hoffer International Awards. Recently, the novel won the 2023 IndieReader Discovery Award and the Literary Titan Award. Pete continues to live in Vero Beach and his new novel, The Last Floridian, will be released December 2023.Pete Clements is a lifetime writer and active member of the Directors Guild of America.
