Description
The course of true love never did sail smooth. . .
Things on this yacht are about to get rocky…
When feisty chef Sophia and strait-laced first officer Jack are thrown together as the crew for a luxury yacht on the beautiful Amalfi Coast, it’s anything but smooth sailing. And after their first interactions end with one very soggy first officer and an all-out battle over strawberries, they vow to give one another a wide berth for the remainder of the season.
But even on a 154-foot yacht, space is tight – and, try as they might, Sophia and Jack are thrown together time and again. And when disaster strikes for their wealthiest guests, the pair are forced to put aside their rocky start for the good of the charter.
As the tides begin to turn, Sophia and Jack discover that they might just have more in common than they first thought. And maybe, just maybe, Jack might be the starboard to Sophia’s port . . .
After all, the most skilled sailors know that when the waters don’t run smooth, you simply need to chart a new course . . .
The perfect enemies-to-lovers for fans of Below Deck and Emily Henry’s Book Lovers.

Their romance is so endearing because we see what a deep connection they have together and how they really focus on establishing the foundation of their relationship in such a promising way. I so enjoyed reading this one.
If you’re looking for a fun, light read with enemies to lovers, banter, and a slow burn romance, all happening in the chef’s quarters of a luxury yacht off the Amalfi Coast, then this one is for you!
Ada did a great job of creating fun, memorable moments full of tension-filled romance in a sun-soaked setting, perfect for reading by the pool or on the beach. A must read!
A lovely love story with some funny bits . Sophia was a chef and she goes to work on a super yacht and sparks fly when she meets Jack..Her food sounds fab.The captain was quite strict . Hard to review but it was a jolly good Saturday afternoon read.
Charming, witty and full of banter. This was super cute and easy to read. The characters were relatable and I enjoyed their relationship
This is a good story with lots of waves thrown into the mix, we all know how it is going to end up but the journey there is great fun!
The perfect summer will they won’t they romance novel that will be perfect when you are sat by the pool in the sun. I loved the below deck feel of life on this chartered yacht and the streamline crew running the latest charter for two reality tv stars. As the barriers between work colleagues and more than friends blur is love more important than a dream job at sea.

I really enjoyed this book! I love the characters and I felt like the writing is really wonderful. The plot is very interesting and well thought out!
This is a real treat of a book. Seven people, with the captain, all trapped in staff small quarters, working on a summer boat cruise. The life below decks is detailed and I could smell the salt, feel the cut finger and the waves rocking the boat at night. Love against the backdrop of a no fraternisation contract is tricky and whilst you would think the close working and sharing bunks would mean lots of honest chats, it clearly didn’t! The book is a great read and a relaxing, happy one at that.
