A wonderful children's book that beautifully explores the concept of diversity and acceptance. In a world dominated by red circles, the arrival of a purple circle sets the stage for a poignant journey. This book offers children a delightful story that encourages them to embrace their uniqueness and appreciate the differences in others. As the purple circle navigates the challenges of fitting in, the book imparts a valuable lesson about self-discovery, friendship, and the beauty of diversity.
Alright young readers, get ready to dive into a rainbow of circles, because Different is not Wrong is not your average bedtime tale; it's a celebration of colors, uniqueness, and a little dash of rebellion. Imagine a world where red circles rule, and suddenly, BAM! A purple one rolls in, ready to shake things up. This book is a spunky anthem for all the misfit circles out there. From navigating the wild world of fitting in to standing out with pride, this purple circle is the hero we all need. Why should you read it? Because Different is not Wrong is not just about teaching kids to color outside the lines; it's about embracing the chaos, celebrating the quirks, and shouting from the hilltops that different is downright awesome. So, grab your crayons, your little rebels, and let's roll with the purple circle through a world where being different is the coolest superpower of them all!
I love this book for its simplistic visualization that diversity is an amazing thing and should not be feared. This is a great book to bring up ideas of diversity and accepting others for who they are.
What a unique story and the way the pages are set up as well. Storyline was great as well. Perfect for children and helping them navigate this thing we call life.
Of course, the message is beautiful: being different is all right. Purple is excluded in the beginning and the others learn to accept that it's okay to be a different color. The story is told in verse, and the words get kind of big, so this is better as a readaloud or readlong book.
