As a huge Morgana and Oz fan, I am SO glad I got to read this book early!! I will 100% be buying my own copy of it and the physical first volume when they publish here in a few months because this one of my fave WEBTOON series to follow! I originally found Miyuli's work on TikTok and immediately fell in love with their OCs and illustration style. I was so happy that they included the bios into each of the characters at the front half of the book. I've really wanted something like this for a while because I really love all of the characters in this world. It was also fun seeing some of the illustrations Miyuli was working on last year/sharing on their Instagram as full page spreads and features in the book! Can't wait to hold the physical copy in my hands.
As for the drawing portion of the book, I thought the process info and step-by-step sketching methods made sense to me! And being a fan of the series, I loved the little author notes in this section! I appreciated how this felt like a fan book and not only drawing instructions. Being a creative myself, I really enjoyed this about the book, giving insights and details into why various decisions were made!
To conclude...Morgana and Oz are the cutest witch-vampire couple out there and you should be reading their story because Miyuli did a fantastic job with it! Can't wait to read more from this author in the future ✌🏻
I really enjoyed this book that taught me how to draw these characters from scratch. I have seen this manga all up online and it’s really intrigued me. I haven’t read the manga up on web tunes now but it is on my agenda to read but I did really enjoy this book on how to draw them and I definitely love the art style so I would 100% recommend
Super interesting.
For each character we find their description and colors in the palette. And then all the steps to play all the characters.
really love it
For a Webtoon lover for years, this is such a blessing! I really appreciate Walter Foster Publishing for providing me with this advance reading copy! I feel it’s such a great boost for the Webtoon creators and an amazing opportunity for the rest of the world to discover them through such books which educate them about their journey/creativity.
I find the book informative and interesting. I find the instructions very helpful and quite fun! It’s short but you will get the best out of it if you are interested in learning about Webtoons comic art creation.
This is a wonderful guide full of great tips. The illustrations are beautiful and information concise. I recommend this book to any artist and/or Morgana and Oz fan.
I loved the book, because it explains each character individually, their personality and physique, and then explains step by step how to draw the character. I think this attention to detail of the characters and of the process makes us really want to draw and pick up a pencil.
At least that's what happened to me.
And it is a book that formulates the foundations of art and that we can apply to other drawings that we may create.
And is just so good, after we have the story on the Webtoon, it's finally time for us to draw some of our favorite characters.
A lovely book filled with details on how to improve your drawings of the characters from the comics. Yet this is not a beginner-friendly book, it is more for advanced and experienced drawing enthusiasts who need extra ideas and more nuanced guidance. It is also a nice collection item to add to your Morgana and Oz comic drawing collection.
