Description

The Paradise Trees is a compelling suspense novel, written in an engaging and pacey style. Linda’s powerful characterisation is inspired by her work with neurological patients, and the book is written with an intense realism that powers the narrative.

The novel explores Alicia’s struggle to cope with the anger and resentment that has resulted from her violent childhood. However, these feelings suddenly pale into insignificant when she realises that her own preoccupation has caused her daughter to be harmed too.
