Description
Wonderment is the life story of an English boy who, after selling his first story to the BBC at the age of 11, determined to be a writer, worked newspaper jobs in the U.S., Bermuda and Kent, moved to New Mexico in 1967 to become a newspaper editor, was recruited as a science writer by a U.S. national lab, returned for 10 years in London, then re-started his American career. Adventures followed throughout, and somewhat to Hey’s surprise he became an amateur philosopher in the process.
Writer Nicki Lewis wrote that Wonderment is: “a memoir of a life both ordinary and extraordinary. . . Nigel’s story begins in England and returns there often, but takes place mostly in New Mexico. He also visits such places as Russia, Bermuda, Greece, China, and Costa Rica… Wonderment is an absorbing read about a fascinating person. The writing is a mix of description and dialogue that flows beautifully.”
