The Adventures of the Ketchup Kids

Adventures never really happen to ordinary children, do they? Especially adventures that involve ketchup!

When Luke (10) and Michael Kingsman (6) got involved in a messy but hilarious ketchup fight in their garden, nobody could foresee the adventure it would lead them into. As a result of the ketchup fight, Luke’s best friend Whizzo starts inventing and creates a number of ketchup-firing weapons that the children plan to use in a series of friendly fights. With their newly created weapons, the children want a name for their gang and become the Ketchup Kids.

During their first battle, the children discover a burglar’s kit in the woods and make a momentous decision – to become crime-busting heroes and solve the mystery themselves. The discovery catapults the gang into a thrilling adventure of a lifetime, involving lots of sticky red stuff and some mean and malevolent burglars who are out to catch the children. Will the Ketchup Kids apprehend the burglars – or have they gone a step too far into an adventure that should have been dealt with by grown ups?
