I'm ALWAYS in the kitchen cooking up something new for my husband and I, and YOU KNOW the camera HAS TO EAT FIRST. That being said, I am so thankful to the publisher, Netgalley, and Kimberly Espinel for granting me advanced access to this cookbook before it hits shelves on August 20, 2024.
I really enjoyed this book, I am going to be studying commercial photography and I am an aspiring food photographer. I liked how each tip was written by a different person. I found that this helped to find different pieces of advice. I really like how the book is set out into sections, with titles which are clear. I like how at the top of each page it shows the persons instagram and social media pages, i looked at these pages and found it helpful to see how their work looks online. I found the pages where well set out and clear to what they where about. I really enjoyed this book!! Thank you!
This book is great. As someone who is terrible photographing food, this book really gave me some tips and tricks that I know will really help me. I love all of the different perspectives from people who actually photograph and write about food. This book includes everything you need to make your food look amazing in photos. Plus, the photos in this book are stunning. I particularly liked the section on monetizing food content. I really appreciate how well the information in this cookbook was conveyed. I really did learn a lot. While this book seems like it could be a bit niche, I feel like nowadays so many people post photos of their food even if it’s just on social media. Everyone could use the tips form this book to help their photography.
