On the early morning of June 03, 1975, shots rang out from the estate of the oldest and wealthiest sugarcane heir in the state of Louisiana, Addison Devereux. Someone had been digging. Asking too many questions. Unearthing things that were meant to remain buried. Remington Robichaux, a fifty nine year old Creole woman living in Marshall, Texas decides to revisit her deep southern roots through the retelling of her ancestry rooted in Butterville.
