This is a simply but wonderful coloring book there are both light and dark backgrounds to choose from. Theam I enjoyed are Sunflowers, and Hedgehogs. There are many to chose from and it let's you express your inner child. Truly enjoyable.
fun and relaxing pictures for both adults and kids. i loved the flowers and all the fun patterns. this was a great coloring book with a mix of pictures and abstract patterns. a little bit for everyone
I really thought this was a wonderful colouring book, so relaxing to do and suitable for all ages. The pictures were bold and clear, I can see how this would help most people
Very cute pictures. Reminded me of the black velvet posters I would get as a kid to color. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of this in return for an honest review!
This is such a superb book. The pictures are designed for children and adults along with the added advantage of some having dark backgrounds and others light. I found this well put together with a wonderful selection of beautiful pictures. I have purchased this book as I wanted to try it wih my mother who has dementia. She did not want to colour as she only saw it as a child activity but when we sat together she fell in love with colouring in some of pictures. She did choose the ones that I would call the children ones as she has a slight tremor in her hands as well but she did enjoy it and perhaps other older people with dementia would also enjoy it. I found it very relaxing myself colouring a couple of the more complicated designs.
A lovely well designed book that will apeal to young, old and the infirm .
I was hoping the pictures would be more like the cover but they're not, what they are is quite nice though. They're simple but cute and I can definitely see them helping with stress relief
This coloring book for relaxation is perfect for family's activity because the illustrations are amazing with hiding smiling faces on the all pages. I really appreciate this book and I will recommend to parents with anxiety children. Thanks a lot for this title of NetGalley
Sweet, simple designs that do bring a smile to one’s face. I can envision sharing this one with the Littles in my life. I will look for other works in this series!
Thank you for the opportunity to view and review this book.
While this is not a book that is functional for libraries, it is still really cute and can be used for raffles or giveaways.
I found this coloring book adorable! There is a good variety of images, but they all fit the theme of "cute and comfy". I think this is more so geared towards kids judging by the style of pictures, but as an adult, I would enjoy them as well. It has wide spaces to color in, which is a personal preference for me. I find this suitable considering the stress relief aspect. The simplicity could also allow for a lot of creative freedom if you're into that.
The diversity of pictures could make this great for families too. I would definitely consider gifting this to a more artsy friend.
Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this book.
Stress Relief: Colouring Book for Adults and Kids is the cutest colouring book! The images range from light to dark backgrounds, making it easy to pick a page that can be completed quickly as a brain break or a reset, or, a longer, more detailed page. I simply adored the cute cartoon stylistic images, they were fun to look at and still had a good amount of detail. I was particularly fond of the dolphin page and the coffee page.
This is a great colouring book - it is relaxing to do and suitable for all ages.
The pictures were bold and clear and I, personally enjoy colouring to help me feel better when I am stressed so I can see how this would help most people, me included.
There are a great set of fun and relaxing pictures for both adults and kids, there is a good mix. There are fun images, proper illustrations and an abstract mix of patterns, there is a little bit for everyone in the book and it is great to find this kind of book that covers kids too.
It is 5 stars from me for this one - very highly recommended
What a sweet coloring book! There's a lot to choose from and I love doing these kinds of coloring books with my kids. It certainly does help you unwind. Thanks Netgalley for offering this coloring book to review. ADORABLE!
This colouring book looks like it has plenty of lovely designs to dive into! I especially appreciate the thicker lines, which make colouring easier and more enjoyable for me. One thing I’d be curious to know is whether the pages are printed back-to-back or if there's just one design per sheet—this would help avoid any bleedthrough issues. Overall, it seems like a great book to relax with and get creative!
I have a large collections of coloring books and thoroughly enjoyed going through the images on this one. Specifically, how there are some that are season specific versus everyday enjoyments. This variety makes it a good option for anyone, while it outwardly appears geared towards younger audiences, it is still very obvious that coloring is for all ages and does wonders for anxiety and stress, and anyone could find an image to enjoy. Lastly I also appreciated the format of the drawings, the thick lines and not intense details for easy coloring.
Thank you Glow Vivid and Netgalley, for the e-arc. This review is being left voluntarily, and all opinions are my own.
The artwork in this book is just so adorable and seems so fun to color! I only wish I had this in my actual hands to color it myself
This really is the cutest colouring book ever. There’s a wide range of pictures to colour, from waterfalls, to cute staplers! The bakery page is my absolute favourite- it’s adorable.
This is a lovely book to help you bring all sorts of animals, food items, and objects to life.
Thank you to the publisher, and Netgalley for an eARC of this book to read and review.
This colouring book is the epitome of cute. Everything has a "kawaii" style face with bid, happy smiles and glistening eyes. Some pages are in the traditional black-on-white format while others are white-on-black, to create a glowing "velvet art" style image.
These are not super-complex, highly detailed images - these are fun, cold drawings which are accessible to artists of all ages and skill level, and designed to be cute and make you happy while colouring. Want a cute garden? It's in here. A happy teapot? Got you covered, there, too? Jolly penguins and fields of smiling sunflowers? Bingo!
I did have a couple of formatting issues with my copy - some pages were all black, and impossible to tell what the image was meant to be. Hopefully this will clear up in the final version.
~ Many thanks to NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review~
This is such a cute coloring book. The pictures are adorable and not overly complicated. Because of that I feel like it really can be perfect for a kid or for an adult who just wants to relax and color!
It had a lot of different cute animals, flowers, even smiling trees! Such cute images to color filled with such happiness, How can that not just make someone smile and relax a little.
My 4 favorite images were of a hedgehog, penguin, turtle and the happy trees!
With thanks to the author, publisher BooksGoSocial, and NetGalley for providing me with an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
This is a fun colouring book, with lots of easy and relaxing patterns to decorate. There is a nice mixture of dark and light backgrounds and none of the patterns is too severe, rather all have plenty of long flowing curved shapes and most have a happy smiley face or two included. I can definitely see how this would help with stress relief, something for young and older alike.
Very cute colouring book. I like how there's variation of pages where it requires a little bit more detailed patterns (small spaces). And also the option of bigger blocks of spaces to colour. My favourite would be the plants. Maybe in the future the author/illustrator could categories them into different groups. It's easier for the user to navigate the pages where they want to colour a specific thing.
Glow Vivid's Stress Relief Coloring Book features cozy pictures that appeal to all ages. I was surprised to find an adorable stapler in the mix. The price is reasonable for a paperback coloring book as well. I wouldn't gift it on its own. This would make a nice edition to a self-care gift or a friend in need of new coloring books.
I am an adult who collects coloring books because I use coloring to destress. It's a simple, repetitive activity that I especially enjoy when the ;pictures are fun and/or positive. This is a perfect little coloring book for destressing, because the pictures are big, bright, and positive. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.
After a long and stressful day, I love to unwind by listening to audiobooks while coloring, and the Stress Relief Coloring Book for Adults and Kids has become one of my favorite relaxation tools. With 65 big, bold, and easy coloring pages, this book is designed to provide moments of peace and enjoyment.
Coloring while immersing myself in my favorite audiobooks creates the perfect blend of relaxation and creativity. It’s a delightful way to destress, and I can’t recommend this coloring book enough for anyone looking to escape the chaos of the day!
The drawings are incredibly cute, and just from looking at them I was already feeling so much happier. There are simpler designs and also more detailed ones, which I appreciate. Sometimes you're in the mood to colour something quickly and have that little win, other times you want to spend a while filling in with different colours.
I wish there was a pdf to dowload, since the file on the NetGalley app had an issue with the light theme of the app, and some drawings couldn't even be seen. Also the file said it was 2 pages but I could scroll forever.
I love this coloring book! You have dark and light background pages to color. Lots of different pictures to color to your hearts content!
