Description

All who live in the Viking world worship Odin, but my sister Ronja and I grew up in the ruins of his mistakes. Desperate to stop the end of the world, he destroyed our home as a sacrifice to his enemies. We have sworn to teach him that his arrogance has consequences—even for the king of the gods.

This was a strong start to the Odinsbane Saga series, it uses the Norse mythology in a unique way and was engaging. It had that power that I wanted and did a great job in keeping me reading. It had that element that I was looking for and thought the overall concept worked well. The characters felt like they were supposed to be there and had that element that I enjoyed in the genre. Nikolai Sie does a great job in writing this and left me wanting to read the next book.
