This is a delightfully comical story of Tweedy the Clown who loses his nose just before showtime at the circus.

Tweedy keeps imagining he can see his red nose but it happens to be lots of other objects found in a circus - and as he tries to grab the nose accidents happen to other performers to the delight of the crowd.

This is a great fun story book is created by the actual Tweedy the Clown and is full of mischief and mayhem that young readers will love.

Daniel Duncan’s illustrations bring the story to life as you can fully imagine Tweedy’s frustrations at the chaos he causes

A wonderful book for a bed time read or for an EYfS / KS 1 class especially if Circuses are a class topic theme .

I thought that this was a fun story with some great illustrations that worked so well with the story and to bring Tweedy and his escapades to life after he loses his nose!

The story is well written and it was easy to follow. The layout for the pages were nice, bright and clear and perfect for a children's book.

I loved the positive messaging with the book about being the best you can - and in the case of Tweedy, you don't need to dress up or hide behind a special red nose to be that.

It is 4 stars from me for this one - highly recommended!

A cute but silly story that younger children will find hilarious!
Keeps them involved because you are always searching for the red nose. If you can keep a child's attention in that way, they are more than likely to focus their attention on listening.
Great illustrations too
