In Justice, Love, and Organizational Healing, Ora Grodsky draws from decades of experience to lead organizational change agents through the multifaceted world of transformational consulting. This comprehensive guide offers invaluable tools, practices, and mindsets for addressing the technical and spiritual dimensions of guiding individuals and organizations through complex, equitable, and inclusive processes for change.
A Note From the Publisher
After returning to graduate school and earning a Master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, I began consulting for the Massachusetts Prevention Center System, where I helped schools and community-based organizations build the capacity of youth to create healthier communities. In 2000, I co-founded my own consulting practice, Just Works Consulting. Since then, I have had the honor of facilitating planning, change, team development, conflict resolution, racial justice, and leadership development processes with thousands of people in more than 200 organizations and groups across the U.S. and Canada.
I have led countless workshops and trainings on facilitation and other aspects of leadership, including through the Center for Peaceable Schools at Lesley University; the Cambridge Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion Initiative; and Interaction Institute for Social Change.
In 2016, I articulated key elements of my approach to organizational development in Where Does It Hurt? Health and Disharmony in Organizational Ecosystems. This self-published piece is available for free as a PDF on my website (www.just-works.com). I was invited to present it at the national conferences of the Organizational Development Network where it was very well received. The piece was featured on the homepage of Forbes Online in the Massachusetts Non-profit News. It is currently used by professors in graduate-level classes, including at the Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning at Tufts University.

Justice, Love, and Organizational Healing: A Guide to Transformational Consulting is both inspirational and eminently practical--not only 'how to' but 'why to.' Profound concepts like love and justice are skillfully integrated with everything from how to structure a consulting engagement to dealing with resistance and setting fees. Equally valuable to consultants, leaders and all those interested in transforming organizations.
