Description
Book 6 of the award-winning Graham Saga - A time-travel historical romance about two people who should never have met
Life in the Colony of Maryland is difficult – as Alex and Matthew Graham well know. But nothing in their previous life has prepared them for the mayhem that is about to be unleashed upon them.
Being labelled a witch is not a good thing in 1684, so it is no wonder Alex Graham is aghast at having such insinuations thrown at her. Even worse, it’s Matthew’s brother-in-law, Simon Melville, who points finger at her.
Not that the ensuing hearing is her main concern, because nowadays Alex’s entire life is tainted by the fear of what Philip Burley will do to them once he gets hold of them – there is no longer any ‘if’ about it. On a sunny May afternoon, it seems Philip Burley will at last revenge himself on Matthew for every single perceived wrong. Over the course of twenty-four hours, Alex’s life – and that of her family’s – is permanently changed.
How is Alex to survive? And if she does will she be able to put her damaged family back together?

In the latest installment of this time travel story, Alex Graham finds herself accused of witchcraft in 1684 Maryland. Her accuser is none other than her own brother-in-law Simon Melville. Witches are not well treated in 17th century America, but that’s the least of Alex and her husband Matthew’s worries. Philip Burley is still after the couple and now he will catch up with them. Burley will get his revenge for everything he believes Matthew has done to him. the course of one day will change Alex and Matthew’s lives forever.
Comparisons will be made with Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series, but I think this is even better. Belfrage has managed to keep readers interested and engaged throughout the entire series with exciting plotlines, outstanding characters and a commitment to keep her readers entertained.
