Christmas is a time for family and traditions—the foods we eat, the songs we sing, and the stories we share.

Within the covers of this book reside real and fictional families, both familiar and unfamiliar. What they all have in common is the Christmas Spirit—in spades. These are the kind of people you’d gleefully invite to share your dining room table on the most celebrated day of the Christian calendar.

We, the authors of these stories, know the world spins faster and faster every day, and the holidays can be particularly hectic. That’s why we chose these lovely stories that can be read in ten minutes or less. Hey, even a teenager can be coaxed from his or her phone for ten inspiring minutes, right?

There are so many descriptives that could be applied to this book of short stories. Inspiring, entertaining, emotional, uplifting.....pretty much any positive you could apply. Each story is of a family and their holiday. The whole book can easily be read in one sitting, but you're sure to read them more than once as you share them with your family. Read and share, that's what the holiday spirit is for.....sharing.

Twelve New Christmas Stories by Lee Allen Hill, Diane Kinel-truelove and Terry Broxson in the book you get a dozen new Christmas stories that usually involve an animal from a boy who fights of a wildcat with his Christmas dinner and gets so much more in return to a talking cat who tells why the Arapaho celebrate with the Christmas tree. What makes this collection unique is not all the stories are fiction there’s one where a family wins $1 million and that is not only a true story but so funny I love the dad so much then there’s the one about the Christmas Caralers, but weather fiction or nonfiction all the stories are entertaining and so worth reading. To pick a favorite would be so hard to do because so many of these stories are just awesome and leave you with such a happy feeling at the end. This is a great book to share with family and friends for Christmas especially those who are younger I really enjoyed this book and couldn’t stop reading it once I started there are multiple authors and all very talented. #NetGalley, #LeighAllynHill, #DianeCannellTrueLove, #TerryBroxson, #twelveNewChristmasStories,

I sat down to start reading this and I couldn't stop. It is a wonderful mixture of short stories and one that will surely get you in the mood for Christmas.

12 New Christmas Stories is a heartwarming collection of short stories, ranging from touching tales of family traditions to humorous adventures. I loved the mix of fiction and nonfiction and the uniqueness of the stories provided. Reading this definitely got me in the Christmas spirit and inspired me to seek other Christmas short stories of the same caliber and style(s).

I would love to read more from these authors.

I love to read Christmas stories that are not focused on the romance and more of the magic that this holiday brings.

Most stories are set in the last century, which just adds to the nostalgia of this book, and they are short stories that focus on charming and sweet tales that happened around Christmas.

Each story is unique and they are all heartwarming. If you want to add a bit of magic to the Twelve Days of Christmas this year, I think this book is perfect for getting to escape form everyday troubles each evening (especially if you add a hot cup of cocoa or tea).
