Unofficial Taylor Swift Crochet

This is brilliant for any crafty swifties and would make a perfect gift! There is a good variety of projects for different skill levels and they're all super cute to make. If you are a beginner at crochet you may struggle with some of the projects but the instructions are clear and there's a helpful index.

As a swiftie, the second I saw this book, I had to have it. I have been crocheting for 30 years and these projects are absolutely adorable.

My favorite project so far is the “All Too Well” scarf and that will be absolute perfection for fall this year.

The directions for each project are easy to read, easy to follow and provide clear and concise measurements. I like that each project also denotes a “skill level” so that you know which projects will be best for your current abilities.

AND that Karma Cat Bag?! I will need to make at LEAST two of these, if not more, in varying colors because how cute is that?!

The book also included some great instructions in the back of basic crochet skills, some common stitches and some general tips and tricks on things such as increasing and decreasing stitches. Lee Sartori did a great job with this book and I am excited to use it multiple times for different projects.

Calling all crafty swifties! This book is amazing and so fun! There are many different fun crafts, many of which are from her music videos! The directions are direct and concise. I look forward to completing more of these crafts! I have many students who love craft books and Taylor Swift, I am looking forward to getting a copy for my students!

This is super cute. Any Taylor Swift fan who crochets would have this book. The themed items are great (and yes the red scarf is included as well as the famous cardigan). Projects are rated by difficulty so people know what they are getting. There are lots of full-color pictures and beautifully themed section openers.

I enjoyed the unofficial Taylor Swift Crochet Book! I only learned to crochet recently, but have been looking to expand my range. One of the projects that interested me most as a beginner was the All Too Well scarf. I appreciated that the patterns and stitches needed were clearly explained. So many great patterns for all the swifties in this book! I’m so excited to try out some of them soon. I wish there were a handful more “beginner” patterns or quick work ups because the majority of these are larger projects, but this is still the perfect book yarning swifties!

Lee Sartori, the swiftie hero that you are!! I’ve been trying to find tutorials online for awhile now for certain Taylor Swift inspired crochet projects. This collection is amazing.

There’s a list at the beginning that buckets each project by skill level. There’s also notes on US vs UK phrasing. Projects that use a grid format have it printed on the page, which is so helpful. Towards the back, there’s even a step by step photo guide for certain stitches too.

There’s a cardigan pattern, the red scarf, an evermore doll. There’s really something for everyone in this!

This collection will undoubtedly delight any Swiftie crocheter. The author kindly lays out images of each project at the beginning of the book with their difficulty level and the page on which the instructions can be found. I appreciate that the author selected budget-conscious yarns that will be available to nearly every crafter.

If you've been wanting to make yourself "the" cardigan or red scarf -- this is the book for you. A great collection that I plan to pick up for myself.

What a delight! As a lifelong crochet enthusiast and Swiftie, I couldn’t be more thrilled to stumble across this book, where both of these special interests come together! I was pleasantly surprised with the number of projects inspired by Taylor Swift in this book, and the range of complexity from beginner to advanced. Two areas that I think there is room for improvement: more polished/professional pictures (including blocking the finished works) and a clearer organization of the projects. They seem to be grouped by… theme, maybe, but grouping by project type or by difficulty level may be a more sensible choice. Overall, I adore this book and look forward to making my own Swiftie crochet projects. A very well thought out book about crochet! It's incredibly informative and I like the accompanying illustrations/photography next to each project. I absolutely adore the Reputation Taylor Doll.

I love this so much! The patterns are clear and easy to follow and have great visual guides, plus I love the little explanations at the start about why they're included.
I was able to make the All Too Well scarf and it's been a huge hit!

I'm not a fan of Taylor Swift's, but I love to crochet so I wanted to see what this book was all about. I don't understand the references, but some of these patterns are stunning! I can't wait to try to crochet the "Back to December" Hooded Cowl and "All Too Well" Scarf. I love how they teach some more advanced techniques, including the foundation crochet and inserting a zipper. This book is great for someone at any skill level. This was such a great idea for a book. As a Taylor Swift fan, I was very excited about a book of crochet patterns devoted to all things Taylor Swift. There were so many amazing patterns. The patterns were varied, unique, and well thought through. The pictures were very helpful as well. The instructions were well-written. I also like knowing the difficulty level before starting. I can see this book being great for any Swifty. It would also make a great gift. I am so happy to have received this book will make many gifts for others and for myself.

This book will be great for anyone who is looking to get into crochet. There's a wide range of projects, including patterns to crochet your own Folklore cardigan or Red scarf. And there's a tutorial section in the back that will walk you through different stitches. I can't wait to try these.

I'm not a Swiftie, but I am a newbie crocheter. The patterns look easily understandable for someone who has basic crochet skills and, even if you're not a TS fan, there's some cute things you can make (the "Never Grow Up" baby blanket looks cozy). And now I know how to add a zipper to a crochet project!

I laughed when I first saw this book listed. It seemed so random, but then somehow made sense the more I thought about it? The tie-ins to Taylor are on point and there are a variety of different patterns for different skill levels. The instructions made sense for me, someone who crochets as a hobby. There are definitely some patterns in here that I will plan to make for some of my more obsessed Swifty friends.

This vibrant collection, curated by Lee Sartori, offers over 20 diverse projects spanning clothing, home décor, and accessories, all inspired by Taylor Swift's iconic style and music.

From the "All Too Well" scarf (my personal fav) to THE "Cardigan" sweater, each project captures Swift's carefully curated style while providing a creative outlet for crafters of all skill levels. I also adore the Reputation TS amigurumi with her amazing suit!

The book's clear instructions, difficulty ratings, and "Taylor Made" customization tips make it accessible to beginners and interesting for even experienced crocheters. I found the instructions in the very back of the book to be very high quality, a lot better than you get in some of the more common pop culture-themed crochet books.

Love this!! Beautiful patterns to make some truly lovely Taylor Swift handmade merch!! I cannot wait to make some of these and show others how too to.

I loved the diverse range of projects in this Taylor Swift themed crochet book including wearables, amigurumi and home decorations. I thought it was great that the difficulty level of the project was indicated from beginner all the way up to experienced. The pattern were very clearly written and would be easy to follow especially as special stitches used for each individual pattern are noted at the start of the pattern.

I have to admit that I am not the biggest Swiftie so I didn't understand a lot of the references throughout the book or the inspiration behind the projects however if you are a big Taylor Swift fan this would be such a fun book to have on your shelf. My favourite projects were the cardigan sweater and the shake it off sweater.

Overall this was a very well written book and I liked the range of projects available. This would make an amazing Christmas present for any crafty Swifties out there!

I recently downloaded this book from NetGalley because I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan and I’m currently teaching myself how to crochet. The design of the book is stunning, with adorable pictures that really capture the essence of Swift's aesthetic. I absolutely love the variety of designs inspired by her, and I must say that the bag and the cardigan are my favorites! I’m eager to create both pieces, but I know I need to practice my granny squares first to build my skills. I’m especially excited to dive into the beanie pattern—it looks like a fun project to tackle next!

This book is so cute! Seriously. If you like crochet and Taylor swift, this is perfect. Heck, even if you’re only a mild fan, there’s some adorable patterns in here, like the wildest dreams cardigan, or the never grow up baby blanket. The patterns are all easy to read, with a full glossary of terms in the beginning. Patterns have difficulty ratings that are easy to see so beginners can work their way up to the more complex projects. The Taylor swift quotes sprinkled through out, as well as fun ideas and nifty tips in the Taylor made for you boxes for every pattern. I definitely plan on making myself a few of these projects because of how gorgeous they look, and how clear the directions read.

So many cute patterns! I especially love the friendship bracelet pillow.

This was a wonderfully written and clear crochet book. I have been crocheting for years for context and have seen some bad patterns. I think these all fit the theme so nicely and were such cute ideas! I think the levels for the patterns were accurate and thought out and that the directions would be easily understood by crocheters on any level. So excited to make all of these!

These projects are SO cute! I’m not personally the crocheter in the family, but the instructions were easy to follow and I can’t wait to have some made. I loved that a skill level was mentioned for every project and the little details like the friendship bracelets being used.

I’m a new crocheter and this book made me realize how much more I still have to learn - wow there are so many stitches, options for bordering etc. it also gave me the delusion as a new crocheter that I can totally do the sweater. And the ambition to want to try it! I loved how this book broke down with photos, step by step instructions and an intensive index that breaks down how to read patterns and examples on how to do stitches step by step. Highly recommend. Adorable book with fun and creative ideas for a variety of crochet ability levels. I am still a beginner at crochet so I was happy to see that not all of the projects were super intimidating. I am super excited to give some of them a try, especially the different blankets, journal cover, and headband.

Swifties will love this crafty book. A good mix of projects from the beginner to advanced crocheter. I would start with the headband as it’s quick to make. Some of the projects the jumpers, blankets and shawls will take a lot longer to complete. The dolls are super chute, love the hair. You could definitely make your own Taylor costumes to expand your dolls wardrobe. My one criticism are the colours used, they are rather dull. Glitz it up with some sparkly wool.

So this is actually one of the coolest things I've received on NetGalley. These patterns are so fun and there are so many that I can't wait to try out.

I loved the creative designs in this book that are based off of Taylor Swift songs. They all fit with the music and I can see myself making some of these designs while blasting the music it goes with.

This book contains 20 crochet projects that range in experience level from beginner to advanced. This would be great for someone either just getting into crocheting or who wants to expand their repertoire. I'm especially excited about the inclusion of THE cardigan, which would be such a fun project for the Fall! The beginning of the book has helpful explanations about the abbreviations used in patterns, yarn weights, and hook size that would be particularly useful for a new crafter or someone who needs a refresher.

Cardigans, socks, hats, fingerless gloves, dolls, etc. The patterns are very easy to read and well explained, with lots of photos. The author also groups, the patterns in categories of difficulty at the back of the book. There are some different stitches used in the pattern explained in more details. Regardless of your crochet skill level if you love Taylor Swift, this is a great book to have.

I love the idea and theme of this book, as a fellow Swiftie! The images, and character art are cute and on theme.
Most patterns seem easy to follow. The graphs are hard to see though for individual stitches, so I absolutely love that there are codes to scan for the graphs with larger printable versions. This is a major plus for readers and buyers.
The patterns are great and original, offering a mix of difficulty types for beginner crocheters and those with more experience. I love the different types of items offered in book so you're not just making blankets or dolls, you can choose between many different items, including wearables. The theme in the books was followed throughout. I tested out the Bejeweled Headband for my daughter and she loves it, directions were easy to follow. I plan on trying the Taylor doll, and possibly the cardigan sweater next.

Directions for the Shake It Off Beanie confused me a bit when it came to the graph portion of the pattern while reading it, but that may be a me issue and not a pattern issue.
I will definitely be recommending this pattern book to other crochet friends and posting about it on my instagram account this week between the dates Oct.7th and Oct. 11th. Working on getting photos for the post ready currently.

This is a must have for any crocheter who is also a Swiftie fan! This book contains so many TS projects and I can’t wait to make some of them. Is the Swiftie in your life sad that Taylor’s Eras Tour has finished its US stops? If so, cheer them up with the Unofficial Taylor Swift Crochet book (or something you crocheted from it).

The book has 21 different crochet patterns with skill levels varying from beginner to experienced. The patterns are based on Taylor’s songs. They are even grouped into chapters based on what album the songs were on. Each pattern links to the song lyrics or videos. For example, one cardigan pattern is linked to Wildest Dreams, while another sweater is linked to Cardigan. You Belong to Me has a friendship bracelet pillow. A Taylor doll pattern is linked to Evermore by the coat she wears on the cover. Another Taylor doll is wearing her stage clothing, hair and makeup for her Reputation tour. It is just undeniably cute.

As a lifelong crocheter, the patterns are very easy to follow and include some illustrations to help beginners. My favorite part, besides how creatively each pattern is linked to Taylor’s work, is the sizing for all the clothing goes from XS to 5X.

Even though I am not a Swiftie (because ballads are really not my style), I would still purchase the Unofficial Taylor Swift Crochet. The patterns are original, pretty and size inclusive. What’s not to love? 5 stars and a favorite!

If you're a big enough fan to know exactly what cardigan I'm referring to when I say this book has a pattern for THE CARDIGAN, then you need the book.

A lovely book for anyone with an interest in crochet...or indeed, Taylor Swift! Some beautiful projects are featured, many of which are gorgeous even to those of us who aren't necessarily huge 'Swifties'.

This is a beautiful book, illustrations are totally on point, and the designs are fabulous. In addition to offering 20 fantastic projects, with the required amount of handholding to talk us through these, the book also features a walkthrough of the basic techniques towards the end of the book (surely appreciated by those of us new to this craft). The 'lavender haze halter top' is an absolute must in my household!
