Each of the three Mistdreamers has been allocated a personal guardian, a member of the Infidelibus – a group of angels, sworn to protect all Mistdreamers. Prince Seere, a demon prince of hell, has been assisting the Infidelibus in their struggle to prevent another War of Angels and has been given the task of being Valerie’s protector.

Seere, a carefree demon, interested only in the many pleasures of life, has pledged to keep Valerie safe, but it was proving to be a formidable task. Valerie was a resourceful, independent woman and Seere’s constant presence infuriated her. The Prince viewed her in a new light – considering her to be a challenge, enjoying the rebellious streak she displayed...
