I’ve watched the programme from the beginning and this anniversary book chooses some of the most iconic and memorable houses featured over the years. I confess that I didn’t remember all of them but others have left an indelible memory. The format provides the original vision and sometimes struggles and the majority have an update. It’s interesting to see the changes over 25 years, some pioneering concepts have become mainstream and others are showing their age. I read the electronic version but feel the hard back copy would make an excellent Christmas gift.
