Take Two : A Contemporary New Adult Sexy Short Story

Short, but sexy short story between FMC Anne and her two male best friends. The trust between them is desirable, and this was such a palatable why choose romance.

This was great! It was a short easy novella that I read in one sitting. It was super high heat and the sexual chemistry between the three characters was great! But there was also enough depth and emotion to feel for these characters and hope they had a happy ending together! Such an easy read!

I just started listening to this arc this morning while doing my chores, and I must say this book is short because I just literally started and now 27% of the book is read. Thank you to Netgalley and publisher. If you like your books spicy than this is definitely for you! My full review is to follow as I will listen to this arc again later tonight. It’s the 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ part so I’ll have to come back to this arc later on evening and listen to my other arcs for the time being while I workout and do my chores.

A short and steamy story! I thought the book had a lot of spice and a simple plot. It was an easy book in between ones that are more complex. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Exactly as advertised. Sm^t with a HEA. Also contains some degradation k!nk as a fair warning. Over all with the evening read and I'll pick up books by this author again.

Short novella of three students who decide to take their friendship to the next level and travel around Europe together having a lot of steamy fun on the way. For a short book the characters have a lot of personality and the plot is still a driving force of the story.

This book is a short and sweet story will only being 38 pages long. It was a quick read and for all you romance and smut lovers - very ideal! Of course it was short so you only really got a small glimpse into the three characters, Anne, Nathaniel and Theo. This book was very steamy and has somewhat of a snapshot of a storyline too.

I would have like more preamble to the story and a little bit more substance. But as a short story it's quick good read.

A VERY short story about a threesome of students exploring Europe AND each other! A super cute why choose, short enough that I couldn't classify it a romance it is mostly just smut but it's got a cute little story with it, and it's a happilyy ever after so I have no complaints! Plus, a little bit of consensual degradation kink was thrown in there so I am eating well tonight!!

Anne, Theo & Nathaniel are college students who are studying abroad. Anne is attracted to Theo & Nathaniel, and the guys are both attracted to Anne. After a night out, the guys decide to gauge Anne's interest in being with them both for the night. Unbeknownst to the guys, this is something Anne has fantasized about, but she wasn't sure if the guys felt the same way. This starts the friends off on a summer fling that could potentially lead to more.

I liked this short, sweet, and streamy read. It was a little heavier on the plot than I expected, which was okay with me. There were a few information dumps with details that weren't really necessary. I also felt like the dialogue was a little clunky at times.

The story seemed to get better as it went along. The ending was satisfying and felt like the characters were headed into an exciting new chapter in their lives.

A short sexy story in three parts. Life moves and forwards in three chunks in this book, including a beautiful villa with a beach and New York City. There’s a little time outside the bedroom, but most of the book is Ann and her two men engaged in sexy time. this short story is very much a short story however it is exciting and erotic and worth the read..

It was hot, it was sexy and it was short! A perfect palate cleanser for those who love steamy sex scenes and this one had 2 guys! It was pitched just right.

this was a quick, easy, spicy read!! i was looking for something exactly like that when i requested this book so it was so perfect. if you want great spice, mmf, a novella with little plot, and just a quick smutty read then this is for you.

Take Two delivers a perfectly spicy, quick read with all the heat promised by its synopsis and just enough plot to keep things moving. The scenes are well-crafted, and the descriptions are both vivid and imaginative—a fun escape when you're looking for something steamy and straightforward.

I enjoyed this book. It’s exactly as described, little plot but has sexy MFM scenes. It was a quick read. I would read more from this author!

Even tho it says in the disclaimer: "If you're looking for a full-length plot, this is not the book for you."
That doesn't mean that it's a book without beautifully written sentences. I especially thought the talk about what other people might think about someone's sexual preferences was written in a gorgeous way. A brief story that makes you long for more.

This was a great novella, but like all novellas you will always want more.

This was so deliciously perfect! I'm 1000% keeping this in my kindle library for when slow burns are just taking too long. It gets right to the point, the storyline behind the spice is perfectly sweet. You need to add this to your tbr. It's a quick read and definitely worth it. I need more from Ava Colt ASAP.

Short, spicy, and sweet! The spicy scenes were spot on, and there was just enough background and story that it wasn't completely smut. A lot of short stories feel incomplete but this one didn't feel that way. If you're looking for some spicy fluff, this is perfect.

This was very good for a novella, lots of spice, very good.

I will check out this author other work in order to do more reviews on Insta and Goodreads for her!

Colt puts together a beautiful, very adult short story. It's got all the spice, wonder, characters and love. I found myself wanting more and more as I read on, but understood that it was a short story.
Colt gives the characters a spice level that is adult but not over the top. Young lovers exploring their relationship, only they don't have to choose. This thruple moves to NY to be with each other because they are all in, with both the sex and the relationship.
It was a beautiful short story. I will be looking forward to reading more from Ava Colt in the future.

Cute and steamy short story. I do wish there would have been more depth of emotion and plot however with it being a short story there wasn’t much room for that.
