I thoroughly enjoyed this twist on the vampire novel. Although a novella it reads like a novel, you get enough info on the characters to empathise with them and understand their way of thinking. Will be looking at other works by this interesting author.

This was a strong start to the Orthodox series, it had that element that I was looking for and enjoyed the concept of vampires. It was a strong coming of age tale and was invested in what was happening to the characters. It left me wanting to read more in this series. Belinda Topan wrote this perfectly and am excited for more.

This book is perfect for a series., I really do hope it is.!! This book could be the next Blade. I loved those !movies but when ypu.read the book, it would be a female Blade. Its just to perfect. The book was great!! I really could not put it down at all. I.stayed up just to read the whole book and boy was I glad I did. Beautifully written and everything seemed very thought out. Loved it and hope other will love it too!
