Description
When identities shift and loyalties are tested, what becomes most important to protect?
The wily, charismatic Lord Bromley tries to take ownership of Rhinebeck through a series of cunning deceits. Joined by unexpected allies, Percy must parry Lord Bromley’s attacks and preserve his benefactor’s legacy, while grappling with his newfound identity. This novel explores parent-child relationships, fractured vows, and the prescience of the dead.
Book 2 of the Eye of the Moon series, this story resonates with international readers as the author was raised in the environment he writes about and is remarkably well-read in Latin, Greek, and world literature, which influences his storytelling style. Themes include friendship, loyalty, family, belonging, and the dilemma of finding one’s place in shifting relationships.
