Description
In the glittering world of the Persian Platinum Society, success in Norway's high-stakes network brings not only wealth but also a labyrinth of deceit and betrayal.
Mina, the society's charismatic star, grapples with shadows from her Iranian heritage while steering through a minefield of corporate intrigue. As she ascends, programmer Kent uncovers a tapestry of secrets, exposing the clandestine ambitions of each member.
Amidst this intrigue, the society gears up for an unprecedented congress. However, Billy T, driven by envy, plots to undermine Mina's ascent. An unexpected alliance with Ronny offers Mina a glimmer of hope, but a misstep leads to a rift, jeopardizing more than just her position.
Into this high-stakes arena steps Tom Hals, a financial maestro with pivotal connections stretching to China. A critical deal there could secure Ronny's future, but it comes laced with risks that could alter the society's destiny. As fortunes swell, so does the shadow of danger, both from within the society and beyond its opulent facade.
In this game of modern-day Ponzi schemes, timing is everything. The early bird reaps rewards, while latecomers scramble in the wake of those who have already seized their fortune. In a world where every move could be your last, who will emerge unscathed from the perilous dance of ambition and deceit?

This was a strong sequel in the Ponzi Game series, it had that element that I wanted and enjoyed the overall feel of this story. The characters had that element that I was hoping for from the first book and glad it worked overall. Jon Fredrik Fikse has a great style and was glad I got to read this.
This was a good read from Jon Fredrik Fikse and all his travels in the mid-east and then back to Norway. He has two current tales, well more than two but he has Ronny Wold as the first, and then Mina Lajani as the second because she's from Iran and has a lot of background that's hard to relate to! He has several people who are Founders and management that have decided to get rid of Ronny Wold as the leader of PPS since he is a womanizer and a person who is going to jail soon. He started the Pyramid in Norway and as it grew it gave them a lot of cash. Mina was in Iraq and had an awful life which she found pregnant and meaningless. When she got to Norway everything changed for her and she got to the place where she became someone who was almost the best sales person. The scenarios are a lot more than I can tell you so read this book for yourselves. It's really interesting and I recommend it.
